Inside the box

In situations inside the box, when the ball carrier has another player in the far post, is it normal if that player allways stays marked behind the defender? I frequently create those situations and almost everytime the ball gets cut off because the other player allways gets anticipated by the defender and never offers me a diferent passing option. Am I doing something wrong?

Probably to stop the shitty boring cutback goals that blight the game along with the laggy speed freaks. A trait commonly found in Spain & Italy I find.

I don't know if it is supposed to be like this, but it looks like the way Konami chose to improve defending is nerfing the offensive movement. Even if I play 20 through the middle, 20 in the offensive, and having 3 strikers, they just refuse to run in to box in those situations, they prefer to walk, or stop before entering the box (why rush things?), making me allways pass behind, and even so, behind a defender.
In the other way, if that happens in the midfield zone, the forward cuts through the defensive line, benefiting who plays long ball and counter-attack, what it should probably be the way everyone will be playing in the future.
