is that kind of cheat or server problem???

i saw that kind of cheat on konami servers during oml.i was on semi final after 3 streaks match on d5 cup.
When i was on final screen to wait my opponent the ps3 wrote a msg.this game will be closed cause of connection problem and the other player won by konami server system.my rank was 525.the other player was 510.is that also kind of cheat or server bug?what do U think?

cheat, if a person knows he is ranked higher through qualifying, he will disconnect the game, because during disconnections the higher ranked player will advance.

in my country we call that cheating, but in south america, apparently they call it skills lol

its not about your division points, it is determined by your ranking in the qualifying round

I'm glad someones explained this because it happened to me 2 weeks ago in a division 5 cup. Well annoying! Surely its easy to identify which player out of the 2 has disconnected?!

it happened to me in div 5 q/final last night, and the guy did it in the first k/o round as well cos i messaged the guy who had lost and he confirmed that he also had been cheated. the only difference is that im on xbox not ps3 but it seems that there are many pricks and cheating wankers across all the platforms! the guy got all the way to the final doing the same thing but couldnt do it in the final as my mate finished first in qfying and duly beat him 4-0 in the final. the best thing to do is report any cheating and hopefully they will get banned.

some prat did this to me lastnight but i was a lower rank than him and i got the 3-0 win lol. got well and truly stuffed in the next game thou..lol
ps:- so in the future its going to be even harder to get a fair game in MLO??

well thats what i thought..whenever i lose connection it takes me back to the ps xbar and i have to sign in again

Hmm, well I´m on the 360 and when the connection drops out I just get returned to the tournament menu and get a little message that after reviewing the situation, the opposite player is awarded the win. I get my prize money and thats it.

thats when the internet goes down...i cant understand how they make it worse and it only goes back to the tournement menu

i think it has something to do with the cxn quality of both people, if yours is worse it drops and he gets the win and if his is worse u get the win etc. to be fair its all a load of shit cos konami have done nothing to improve the cnx quality for everyone, why is it that everyone only gets 1 red cxn bar showing and not the full 3 bars of years gone by? surely if they were to fix that, it would be better for everyone rather than just the ones moaning about rainbow flicks and cursor changes that can be dealt with by the individual player.

Except lots of people arent that interested in the mess of cheating and exploits that MLO has become and would far prefer the AI defense and cursor changing to be fixed.

Given a choice between a working game and a better connection quality I know which Id choose.

yeah but what im saying is that the cursor change and rainbow flick can be played against if you know what you are doing but there is nothing you can do about the cxn problems. but to be fair this shouldnt even be a discussion because konami should have done it all right in the first place.
