Really? I don't struggle with shooting at all this year. Are you manually shooting? or just normal holding shoot and go? The shots also are harder this year than in the previous Pes.
Holding towards the goal and holding the power gauge mid way will give you a forceful shot, you hit the ball harder if in a sprint stride or if the balls layed off to you or on the volley.

D. Milito is an animal for low hard shots. Just tap the shoot button.

Dont use the control shot. It's lame. Just make use of the shot.......I score crackers. In previous games in the series the control shot was a great way to score goals. Not with PES 2012.

Push the "special controls" button a tiny bit before the player hits the ball, it becomes the opposite of "controlled shot" and a rocket blast making players even with 78 Shot Power capable of blasting them in.
Like mentioned, if anything shooting is too powerfull and too accurate this year.

Well they told me I need 25 messages to change my avatar and is hard to find threads that worth a post.
Mak is definitely right D. Milito I mean this player has the hidden skill cards positioning, scoring, post player, DF positioning. Form 7, accurate week leg and is a very nice invest for the feature skill cards goal poache, 1-1 finish, one touch play the tenacity is at 80 also! Is very safe to over load him with skill cards and wait for him to reappear later. In pess 2011 it starts with age 31 and is a bit of a problem can give the green condition or blue in some games.
But imagine investing millions to a player and reappear to some team with low stats couche in spoting potential, a scouter with more points to week players, and not 10 millions in the youth team!
See what happened to d milito here:

I'm on topic positioning is the most important factor in pess i mean when i play bal a finisher i don't even run or dribble i just trying to be at the right position related with the systems that any team play and they pass me automatic the bal a simple touch on shot and direction left or right is needed to scoar a goal.
But i will not post any videos how i hold the bal in MLO and i scored 3 goals with such a low player his hidden skill positioning is making him so easy to score.
if i releasing so many details is it a problem to you?
Ps if you are not in the right position and the perfect shot to do with 1 touch in the shoot and the direction the keeper will block the bal to a corner. IF a defender is close to you when you shoot the bal can go above the goalpost out, you always need 1 touch to the shoot and the direction.
I only press the cursor up when i shoot alone, i mean without a defender close to me just to give some height to the ball.
The hidden skill score will improve the accuracy of the shot this is why mak wrote d milito is a monster i agree and with my post i payed a tribute to such a great player.

The OP was clearly asking for help in shooting WITH more power. What don't I get? I understand Milito is a gem of a player and can score some crackers even though his statistic shooting power isn't high. But the OP asked for help with shooting with power.

Controlled shot and power shot is by the same button, it all depends WHEN you press the button. I'm not saying which button other than "Special Control" button, or "close control" if you will, because anyone in their right mind re-define the keys to their liking.
