So as everyone now knows PES 2012 is a shambles and has left all of us felling like have been robbed of our hard earned cash.
The peeps who did there research before buying the game and invested time into the demo (like myself) who can't understand how they turned the game from such a cracking demo to utter pile of poo. And poor others who just assumed pes would be better this year to fined there faith servery shaken.

Just before we reduce the CD to coffee cup coaster status has anyone got any suggestions on what we can do to get anything from this game or maybe roomers of a life saving patch coming from Konami?? Please spread the news.

Speak for yourself. I'm perfectly happy with the game.

I am curious about this jenkeys patch that a lot of people are on about though. I take it this is only available for the PC version?

Yep, PC. I've just left the PS3 version alone at the moment until Chimps can dish something up, it's a mess.

Im entertaining thoughts of going back to the catch up bugged PES2011, at least there the power bar for passing works and shooting is not random. Getting tired of dominating whole games and losing to Barca noobs with some unlucky bounce or super header. Just yesterday Messi outjumped Chellini in the box and hit the crossbar... CMON NOW WTF!!!!!!!! For you that don't know ... Chellini is what 6'2", great in the air while Messi is about 5'4".

Really glad someone is. are you playing it on the PS3 and if so could you share ur settings so i mite try them pls chears bud.

If i turn round and tell the misses the game i was whinging about for ages is now rubbish i will die slow and painfully. lol :)

I'm a 360 PES gamer, but I imagine the settings are the same. I have pass assistance on level 2, and turn all the auto tackling/shooting etc off. Semi-auto player switch. I also toggle with the tactics and man marking per game depending on who I'm playing against.

I'm about half way through season 2 on ML using the default ML squad so everyone is pretty weak, which makes the Pro difficulty quite challenging. I don't think I'm quite ready for Top Player or Superstar yet, which is actually quite a breath of fresh air because it gives me something to aim for. In PES 2011 I was playing on Top Player pretty much from the start, so it got boring after a couple of months. Smarter AI this year, as well as the new defending has knocked me down a notch.

Mak, on PC you at least have decent tools and hacks to make it all better. It's not sugarcoating, it's facts. "Fixing" PES12 is quite easy, really. You're just negative because you're inept at doing anything more advanced than doubleclicking a premade icon on the desktop.

But you are always so negative, so I guess it's really no point in arguing any of your "points".. like ever... But I just can't help myself sometimes...

Err, why should/would I sugar coat the PC version? Do you think I'm some sort of PC lover? The fact is nothing would please me more than having a game that works on the PS3, would have saved me the headache of a month of potching about with settings, tvs, cables, platforms etc etc.

I have no affinity to the PC, likewise I have no affinity with the PS3; I'm just trying to get the best out of any SAID game, and at the moment PES, in my opinion, is unplayable on the PS3, and plays like a dream with a heavily modded PC version.

Like I said previously Mak, I believe I am fully entitled to my opinion having bought two versions of the PS3 and a PC version (that's £110 quid to KONAMI when you do the maths), if you want everyone to sit round the campfire and sing Kumbaya whilst chanting 'PES for PS3', then feel free to knock yourself out...

Nice one steve like you i like starting with a shit team and building them up will try ur settings. and try it on pro.

Have you noticed how big a jump there is from pro difficulty to the one below. lol



P.S. guys if anyone has heard of any more patches for the console versions of pes coming up ?????

Broken pile of crap since PES2008!

Considering moving BACK to PC to try this Jerky Mod with Kit and Stadium Server!
PES5/6 on PC gave me the ultimate PES experience!

OOO NOOO really well in that case if the games doesn't have a repaired patch before my 28 day after purchase I am gonna have to return the game to the store. wow i don't think i have ever needed to go that far even with 2008. Sigh :(
