Is there a way to curl the ball (using L1 while parellel to the goal), like Henry, Rooney, and Del Piero wher able to do in previous editions? Just got the game and I've been attempting , but to no avail.
Is there the secret L1 curling shot in PES 2010?

Yes, I did this with a couple of guys. I think Torres can do it too. Just hold L1 parallel to the goal, on the edge of the penalty box. Works fine for me.

I can do it with Gerrard, Torres, Aquilani, Maxi etc. Works all the time.

Well I play on 360 so I have no idea what L1 is...
. However, when I use the 'special' shooting button the players curl it to the bottom corner of the goal, even from 30 yards out.

Are you guys playing on PS2 or PS3? Becuase on 360 I can do it with 50% of all players, that special shot thing.

I'm afraid you are talking about the Controlled Shot with the R2 button, i'm playing both on pc and ps3 and i know what players can do this special shot! Try with Pires and instead of pressing the RT on your 360 controller press the LB button while running parrallel to the goal and you will see!
