9-0 at home in my final game last season, 6-0 away in my first game this season. I bet I'll screw up in my next game though. Typical of my side over the last two seasons when we've messed up promotion.
I won my first, 3-1. I had 4 offer rejected, 1 approved and 1 accepted. 3 of my best players retired last season. My buy set me down 3.3M, and that's bad for my team. Ahh well, I have a feeling I'm going to get promoted this season.
I drew 2-2 with a team that got promoted:w00t. 5th at the moment and been scoring quite well. Just got one of my offers rejected and another one accepted, 3 of my players are retiring at the end of the season. Two of them where my signings last season.
I won my first game home 3-1 then 2-1 away today. That will do me, am 2nd now and looking at winning the league after losing out on promotion last seasob by the last couple of games like Sweey my team just fell apart. I had 10 offers rejected yesterday WTF. Put another 10 offers upfront though so fingers crossed a few may get accepted.
The business of signing players doesn't work well. I offer as much as my board let me, but it simply isn't enough meaning that in the next three seasons - if I were to play that long and not go to It's A Goal 2 - my team would become non-existant through no fault of my own. I think that at least every time someone retires, you should get a 17-year-old or something who is pretty much crap in everything and needs to be trained lots in order to become useful. That way, you wouldn't get constantly screwed over by your own board.
