Agreed Lazysod At least it's not all down to luck now, but the camera angle is truly horrible. There's a reason that every football game known to man has had a behind-kicker, or behind-keeper view of penalty's. Because it works.

You usually get it when the 2nd defender is takelling while you where shooting/passing. And yes, I got 2 in 10 years. It's a sort compensation for the stupid behavior of the defenders. Otherwise you'll be ending up with a penalty every 3rd game. This one reaaaaaaaallllllyyy needs patching too. :angry: Still a good footy. :happy:

I wont start a senseless bashing or anything, but i've noticed that pes 2010 is cheating a LOT and by cheating I mean things that only the AI can do, like perfect sliding tackles in the box EVERY TIME. I know that this comments don't add much and in the end there is no other football game (yes FIFA, you don't exist) but this version of the game is completely frustrating (and no, I will not lower the game difficulty, I play Top Level).

To be honest, I'd actually prefer not to have penalties, because the new penalty-taking system is ridiculous (in my opinion). I really don't understand what Konami gained from changing it. I guess they were just trying to give us more control over them, but I find it really aggravating... :erm:

The fouling system is really starting to do my head in, wouldnt mind the "ref" giving wrong free kicks all the time if it actually worked both ways! Most times i get the ball and get yellow carded, then AI just takes my man out and nothing is given! Aaargh!

It is very frustrating seeing how the AI made a merciless sliding tackle in the box and nothing happens...

An other thing, I saw TWICE with my OWN eyes seeing a defender givin the ball to the GK, the GK GRABS it like nothing... and no, there was no other player around so it was not a rebound...

I never saw so much cheating in the same game...

The refs have always and probably always will suck, when your player is fouled as you click the strike or pass button, it won't count as a foul.

But I recieved many penalties in my 10 seasons with Arsenal, good way for a weaker player to cash in some goals.



My rant is though, that in the PC version of the game, I cannot defend a penalty, as for some reason I cannot move the keeper after the kicker has started powering up their shot.

Do you think this might just be because the developers realised the new penalty system was so bad they called it Michael Barymore? I think they just don't want to draw attention to it by giving penalties on a regular basis. I have to agree: the refs and the fouling part of the game is absolutely hopeless. P45 for Seabass anyone?

3rd season of master league and no penalties awarded or given away. I once got hacked in the box, but my player managed to keep his feet and while he was stumbling and about to regain his balance he got 2 footed by another player and went down, but no penalty awarded! It was a blatent assault. In real life the police would have got invloved.

i seem to get a few penalties here or there but it is always when i am 6-0 up. anytime the game is close i get no pens. was playing in the milan derby 2-1 down and got wiped out when clean through, no pen, controller went into the wall and now my x button wont work lol!

Im in season 3 and i got my first pen shot awarded. i of course converted it but i have also given up probably 10 pen shots over those 3 years.
