Bit of a surprise kit update today. I was watching Tenerife vs. Barcelona last night and noticed their new sponsor for the home kit. Don't know if it's a one off or they're using it for the rest of season. Anyway, managed to get a decent image of it for editing.

The first photo just about sums up Tenerife's game! 5-0 Messi hat-trick, Puyol, and Pedro magically working a chance that Luna put in his own net.

ive just thought of a good idea to make more in game kits but saving valuable png spaces,the thing ive come up with is if you can make

1 default white adidas png
1 default white nike png
1 default black puma png
1 default white umbro png

these could be used on all keeper kits and smaller nations with flags instead of having to make individual country badges with brand logo eg,austria, bulgaria,angola,cameroon,tunis ia and uraguay could all use same default puma png for their keepers kit thus saving 6 slots to make 3 other teams home and away kit

when you get back to it 2moro could you put those pngs on your to do list thanks mate

Now to my real post! :happy:

Jack and Julio I've been trying millions of things to get the Chile Jersey right, making my own kits, using umbro boys kits, using frodos kits, but I just cant seem to crack the issue of the odd shaped collar. I find the spikes coming out of the collar too rigid and lacking the flow of the original jersey.

Any ideas? or is it a lost cause?

P.S Jack your National Kits are absolutely phenomenal, I find myself visiting the site just to see kits you've made regardless if I plan to use them or not.

P.S.S Julio your formula's are great!! Thanks for the hard work, you've made editing the American National teams a breeze. Respect.

What i did for my Chile kit collar is :

I put a large white line around it then the top thin black one, and used the front pattern collar to cover the middle of the collar. looks quite good, but the Chile collar is very weird and impossible to recreate. Id suggest you use my template on page 62 or maybe Jack can do a better one ( I doubt it )

Anyways, Chile is going to have a new jersey in 2010 for the WC, its confirmed and will be presented in February.

If you do use my templates I can guide you through the editing in msn or the ps3. if not, go to hell ( im kidding)

Imageshack.us mate, keeps filename and doesn't have a bandwidth limit.

Did use Photobucket.com cos organisation was much better but reached the monthly bandwidth limit pretty quickly being that this thread has so many views.

For images of players in kits etc Tinypic.com gives random filename but has the code to just drop straight in forum and doesn't clog up my kit catalogue!

Pointless really doing the check, cos it'll only be on the front, better to just use the in game template which is bigger squares I know, but covers the whole kit.

I did the Away GK to avoid colour clashes really, might look into the home, just have other things I wanna get on with to be honest.

I've seen a video interview with Seabass asking him what team he supports??!!! An interview with him is SOOO rare and I just think to ask stupid questions like this is a complete waste if time.

I've noticed that kind of stuff too! It's plain damn stupid. And plus there are a lot of sites/forums that say they are something like official konami forums (like this one here, we even have an area supervised(?) by konami ^^) where mods claim they are always in direct communication with Konami and yet they never bothered to ask a simple question such as "Why only 40 slots for team emblems" or "Why only 200 slots for kits". I'd like to hear their explanation for it, I can't think of anything else other than lazyness, but I'd still like to hear their attempt to provide some sort of an explanation. Maybe they listened to the fans and fans said they didn't want more free slots lol

Having many more blank teams would be nice as well, if they can't get the proper licenses at least let the fans do the job right.

Yeah I'm really impatient to see what puma are gonna do with Uruguay and all the american teams, should be very nice as well.
Honestly I just don't understand the pes team, I do concede they revamped the gameplay for this one and that is the most important but I mean you sometimes get the impression that they can't add something without taking something out, I did the transition from ps2 to ps3 this year and while most novelties are very nice (the League B teams who were randomly taken out of pes 09 for no reason) I am amazed at the number of things they have taken out for no reason: writing on the back of the shirts, short and back of shirt logo's, changing player nationality, using preset faces already in game etc, you would imagine it would take more time to take them out than to leave them in really. I'd back you up for the pes team anytime (and I'm not the only one) they should really get their act together and listen to the players for once.

Wow! Those Chelsea kits look awesome, especially the 2nd gk kit. I'm glad you included it Jack as that kit is used quite a lot. The 'climacool' and 'NikeFit' logos on the shirts make them look more realistic than those of the licensed ones lol!

Think we should start a petition to get Jack signed onto the Konami team, teach Seabass and those donkeys a thing or too
