Euro WE7I_jap_evo_web_optionfile_v2.06.xps.......(Euro 2004 XPORT option file with correct teams/squads...Note-has created new players,correct shirt no's and stats from Champ. Manager (is Kezz's xps modified))


Installation

1) Using a ripkit -rip your dvd we7i to cd size onto your harddrive....or if u have a dodgy off the net file backup in iso/bin format just stick a COPY of it in a nice folder eg JB patch

(or if you want to burn on dvd extract files with iso buster or use 'APACHE'(same as cd mage for dvds -see editing section or search)


NOW-

RUN-CDMAGE (-make sure its the beta version)

GOTO- file -open - find your image/iso/bin

Extract the data_e/j.afs file from the image using cdmage.

Right click on file -then extract,leave cdmage open


2) Open ppf-omatic and apply the patch -JB EURO 11.6.04 DATA_E/F.ppf to the original DATA_E/J.AFS size 559 MB (586,489,856 bytes) (note- NOT to the bin only apply to this file...to find it --in ppfomatic look for 'any file' NOT just bin/iso) ……

Then-

In CDMAGE-

Import back into thebin (image in cdmage) - Right click on original data_e/j.afs in cdmage then- click import , find your newly patched data_e/j.afs and import it.


3) Then replace the original files OVER.AFS and SLPM_654.97 with the ones included in euro2004 13.6.04 over&slpm.rar (not the ones in the JB EURO 11.6.04 DATA_E/J.rar patch ...these here are newer euro 2004 updated ones)

Right click on original OVER.AFS in cdmage then- click import , find my included in rar OVER.AFS and import it.

Right click on original SLPM_654.97 in cdmage then- click import , find my included in rar SLPM_654.97 and import it .

Note-over.afs included has default kits so no need to modify them in game to get the new 'sponsored' kits.
(old memory card option files will over write though so boot up with it out)

4) Check for errors /repair in cdmage
(and/or if have problems with bugged game - check for errors and repair in eccregen (search google))

5) Burn cd in Nero - find image/bin burn as slow as possible eg 1x ideal or 4x is good ,
mode 2/2352

6) Ideally you could use my Euro2004 option file- xps (need Xport hardware)

NOTE for DVD uses burning a DVD version try 'Apache' for importing extracting from a DVD image,it works like CDmage for dvds.

for dvd burners re Slpm file editing (cheers Hullybul for this)-

-in the hex editing program you open the slpm_654.97 file (in this file the dvd/cd check is). With this program you can remove the cd check and make it suitable for dvd.

In line 000124c0 are 4 values that have to be edited.

(it is in position: 5, 6, 7, 8, you' ll see that by yourself)
000124c0 (cdversion) 01 00 10 24
000124c0 (dvdversion) 2d 80 80 00

So in your slpm_654.97 file (which is for cd version) you have to edit the value 01 into 2d the value 00 in 80, the value 10 in 80 and the value 24 in 00.

Then you save the edited slpm_654.97
Now you open nero 6.0.2.3 or higher. Insert a blanck DVD. You chose Nero Burning Rom, New Compilation, DVDROM (UDF/ISO), no multi-session. Add all the files from directory b and burn as slow as possible (as always).

Help!

I've done everything the readme said to do but I cant get it to work. Do both the Data_E.afs and the Data_J.afs patches has to be used for it to work?? I've only tried with just the Data_E.afs

No only just one, just apply the DATA_E patch to the DATA_E.afs, you can do it on both if you want to.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the new international kits? I found them once but the site I found them on doesnt work anymore, I've looked around on here but can only find club kits and Australia.

wasted 2 CDs. burned both the E and J file too
