...to be fair to the guy he might have had good reason to call me that (though there was no need for the abuse)

basically went in there into the game and the guy was up 1-0 ...the game was tight but he had the upper hand in the line of clearer chances....so now BEFORE half time the game frezees for quite a bit,.....i'm thinking..."whats going on" then it comes back and then it has the message "connection to status has worsed so game cancelled blah blah blah"

i am thinking..."lucky escape" go back in to build bridges with the guy and ask him for rematch and he's "effing" and cussing me, going into the lobby and swaering me down and calling me a cheat...i degraded myself and told him , quite possibly a child considering how hurt and anoyed he was by this, and to him to "shut the f"£$% up" but he wasnt having it.....

but the guy might have had a point

you see ythat was the FIRST time i had gone into a game that seeminlgy had no lag during it and connection took a nose dive deterioration to the point of cancellation.......so i played another game and i told this guy "lets give it 15 secs to test connection" and guess what? it jumped from yellow to red after the 15th second..we decided to risk it anyway......went in there and this time i was winning 2-0 when the same thing happened again only THIS time it said "connection to server LOST" therefore that was on MY end ....i lost 13 points and the guy that initially insulted me and threw accusations my way obviously had justification

i hope its something that happening to others today cause i switched off all other equipment in sight that could use internet so that i dont have bad connection and this still happend

am gonna hold of playing a while...so as to not offend no one or lose anymore points.

The exact same thing happened to me today except I was 2-0 down at half time. I've noticed now that everytime I go to the gameplan the connection goes red and disconnects. It's also happened when I've been winning.

The guy who was beating me I suspect was a lag cheat anyway so glad it happened with him. But I was winning 2-3 the other day with 86 minutes on the clock and it did this. But three times I was losing today and it did this.

Somewhat similar scenario happened to me. I was playing this guy twice in a row and narrowly beat him 2-1 both times. On one of the occasions, rthe game lagged for 3 seconds, and I got a goal. I logged off and when I got back on later, he messaged me in Korean (idk why) saying I take the game too seriously and that next time, I shouldn't play dirty. (to be honest, i think he was just bitter i beat him both times) He was trying to touch a nerve there or two but I think i shut him up good with my response

Anyways, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Hearing your story, I dont think you cheated in any way. if he keeps badgering you, block him. if thats the only reason you're taking a break from pes, i wouldn't, you did nothing wrong. but if you want to take a break for other reasons, by all means, go ahead.

FIFA 10 on the other hand, you could play it with DIAL UP and still be fine.

I think this year the game is running on the PSN Sony and Xbox servers not Konami like in the past... I may be wrong though! I always have good connection with people in the mainland USA. I find the button lag issues and slower response times when playing people in Mexico but mostly in Brazil, Argentina and South America.

DIECI, I also get to play folks from Canada and USA and even them have some lag believe me. I do believe people from South America have the most lag, but I played a few of them from Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Ecuador and their connection is flawless.

I guess its the luck of the draw most of the time. With that said, this years oline experience is 10000000000 times better than last year. I couldn't play it last year, it was just too frusrtating!

Online is ruined since this new patch download. Every Time I play a match and go for a substitution it disconnects, EVERYTIME, and it only started doing this after the new patch.

It doesn't matter what someones connection is.

I can't play a game online amymore. Or If I do I can't change gameplan or substitute.

I 've been called a cheat by someone else today. Was drawing 3-3 and we go into extra time, I take a 3-4 lead and get a message of the the guy calling me a " cheating cunt". I reckon it was sour grapes, because I've played this guy 3 times previously and we drew once and he won the second two and we he won he'd often say great game etc... the time I'm winning he calls me this.

His gamer tag is hammer mark. He always plays as West Ham in the lobbies and I pick a small team to make things even. I picked Sunderland (Wearside), and kept exploiting his defence with Darren Bent who's mega-quick. I scored a hat-trick and this guy was probably getting frustrated and calls me this. Said it was a good game until I made it lag in extra time.

He's a tosser and I've blocked him.
