Just picked up pes2016

This is most recent PES for me since the 2013 edition. I didnt plan to buy the game so there was no research from my side. The first thing/disappointment for me is the graphics.Its awe full. I think it must be the worst since the first edition on the ps2. Perhaps the problem is the size of my tv set(55')?

I bought a PS4 just for this game(and upcoming NBA 2k16). Some youtubers said that ps4 version's graphics is good in person and youtube doesn't give it justice.:tongue:

I'm very disappointed. I'm expecting more on the graphics side. In the end, I sold my PS4 and switched back to the PC version.:realmad:

If they can only make the gameplay graphics look like the close up replay graphics, that will be a big improvement. I want a LOD mixer patch!:crymore:

Well it's likely that most of their efforts were focused on current gen, so the versions for older consoles will take a hit.

I think PES 2016 graphics is good enough.

Comparing with PES 2015, for most of game's aspects, PES 2016 is a better game. Gameplay is better, passing is better, player movement is better ...... etc. In PES 16 you can not spam lobbed through balls on Super star LV like its in PES 15. A well timed lobbed through ball is not easy to be delivered to the frontman, good timing for that is required. You also need some luck with it.

If I have to point out some obvious flaws for PES 2016, it will be:

1, Goal keeper is poor, some shots should be saved for sure but not.....

2, Close range lobbed through balls is way too high, AI defenders have more than enough time to judge and intercept.

3, On Super star LV, AI unstoppable scripting scoring will anger any PES gamers especially playing against top teams like Baca, R madrid, but its been like that for quite a while, so not really surprised with that. The victory can still be achieved if played properly.

4, Squads transfers are not updated which is a gamebreaker for a lot of PES gamers, KONAMI's fault 100%.

In ML, on Super star LV, I beat Bacelona 1:3 in an away league match. Fuck YEAHH..... its a tough game, but I just conquered it, love this game.

The graphics is definitely good enough.
I can appreciate the graphics improvement from last year's game but it's not brilliant.

On the PS4 the graphics only look really good when you use the 'player' camera, it's been like that for a few years now. One thing that looked impressive was the shirts in the rain, a really good effect. It isn't really practical to play using the 'player' camera, but it does look good!

I don't understand when people rave about the graphics when using the other cameras, they're just 'okay', nothing truly special...

NBA 2K16 looks incredible.

They still need to work on the preset faces, they look so shit compared to the real ones. Barely look like real human beings.

Yes, because the player model details on the "Player" camera is the same as the close up replay models which is their "highest level of detail" models. The only difference is that the grass is not 3d on the "player camera" compare to the replay close up camera.

If they use their "highest level of detail" models and use 3d grass on all gameplay/cutscene/replay camera, It's a big improvement.

Yes, i think NBA 2k16 graphics is on another level. It's such a shame that their talking animation sucks. My son is playing this morning and as my wife passed by my room, she saw Durant being interviewed. She said Durant looks scary.:laugh:
