It does take a while to finish, and you can play it again and again because you can play through as different characters, and its fun to blast holes in people :)

Kill zone was good but not great I liked the graphics the wepons were quite good but the game play was not up to scratch.I felt that the controles were somewhat unresponsive with aiming being a bit trickey but apart from that quite enjoyable. If your into war games you should check out sniper elite soon to be released.

Then put the sensitivity down! Mine's just above the bottom setting and works fine.

Killzone IMO is an awesome game. Playing two player is great, there's nothing like standing face to face with a couple of enemies only to realise you're out of ammo and have to reload knowing you're gonna die, only for a rocket to fly in and take them out at the vital moment. Then your mate walks in rocket launcher still smoking.

It's is a bit too good graphics wise for the PS2 to handle really. I think that's why you can only have two players. I think I can actually hear my PS2 crying whilst trying to keep up.

Because of the inexperience of the games producers and the inferiority of ps2 hardware, KillZone was an extremely ambitious and innovative game, and hopefully the team that made killzone can move onto the ps3 and with their increased experience and the backing of Sony(who've signed them up), they'll definately be able to make something to compete with the bungie "cash-cows"

I think this pretty much sums it up. I prefer Killzone to games like Timesplitters because it seems more real. The guns are what you might find being used in current warfare or at least close enough. No ray guns etc. This gives it a better feeling when you play IMO. You can tell that they've based it on past wars but this only adds to the realism. The Helgaust are so the Nazis. Multiplayer is what I usually play, however there are only ten maps to play on, and only a few of them are that good.

I would recommend it to anyone, especially at the price you can find it at amazon and play these days, saw it on sale for £7.99 in one of their sales not so long ago. It shows a lot of promise for Killzone 2.
