Loving these 2000s kits mate, don't suppose you'd be interested in creating the England 2002 World Cup kit? Arguably the only tournament England have performed well in the last 20 years, and worn when Beckham put that free kick in against Greece!

Being Scottish I'd like to think that Blackburn's 94-95 title win was down to the tactical Nous of manager Kenny Dalglish, the grit & determination to never be beaten of defender Colin Hendry & the trickery & guile of forward Kevin Gallagher, unfortunately the reality was down to then owner splashing out then club record fees for first Alan Shearer then Chris Sutton, arguably the two best young English forwards at the time. It helped start the trend for 'Sugar Daddy' owners which sees the game as the bloated behemoth it has now become ruled by Billionares looking for status symbols rather than football men in it for the love of the game.

Stunning effort Pip. That keeper top, you will go down in kit making hall of fame for that pal. Totally agree with what you said about the sugar daddy trend. They pretty much bought the title that season. Great team Jenny assembled there

Haha, I'm not sure about that Trev but thanks anyway

Yeah, I can remember when they were paying £5 million for Sutton & everyone was dumbfounded at the sums involved.

Nowadays your Chelsea's & Man Citeh are spending that on youth players

3rd Kit

Just because... I was asked.

I won't be taking on any more requests for a while as I've got loads of retro kits I'm planning on doing

Just to add to this...
The stuff I'm looking to do will hopefully fill holes for the classic/retro lovers with what's already out there in terms of teams, their achievements (Major Trophy wins) & eras (70's, 80's, 90's etc)
Feel free to offer suggestions but please don't get offended if I don't do them.

Cheers

I wish there was interest in the creation of certain clubs so there would be an even wider variety of uniforms. I personally don't use classic teams in other league slots but as a fellow texture maker, I do enjoy going through topics and seeing the work. The pre-2003 uniforms had style, and some from the 80s and 90s are stunning. Have you ever tried a Flamengo kit from the 80s? Their team from 1980-1983 was possibly the strongest of the entire decade (in the world).

I agree, some of the kits from the 90's were just crazy.

I haven't done Flamengo yet but it IS on the list to do. I'm assuming the 80-83 kit would be one you recommend (for historical reasons) is there any other kits you would suggest as stand outs or Iconic for the club?

I have to admit to making the goalkeeper kit up for this one, I done it purely to make a full kit set.

Guimengo I had a quick look at the Flamengo kits from the team you suggested and knocked up a quick kit set for them, I'll probably do another in the future from a later era but I hope these are close enough. The socks & shorts were a bit guesswork due to hard to find images along with the goalkeeper but I think they are close enough for the untrained eye. If you know different feel free to post some images & I'll look to amend them

None of these are particularly fancy but I hope they fill a hole in the market so to speak.

No, no, no, they look beautiful! The most iconic has to be 1981 because it was the beginning of the superteam having won the national title over tough opponents, and having trashed Liverpool in Japan. The kit looked similar throughout the 80's, I'd say 1987 was also a significant one as it was the last title of the decade (and until 1992). The only thing for this would be to straighten the stars, as otherwise it is beautiful as I already mentioned. If only the game would support the kind of font type for numbers!

Glad you like them mate, seeing as you're a Flamengo fan I'll take that as a good sign :)

As for the numbers font I totally agree but seeing as Konami can't even give us a font with an outline I don't see it happening anytime soon :(

First worn by Bobby Moore in Fulham's FA Cup Final defeat to West Ham in 1975 (Moore's last Wembley appearance, ironically wearing a strip remarkably similar to the losing teams strip in Moore's most famous Wembley appearance) it would go on to be graced by non other than the late great George Best amongst others.
