Rocky, don't know if you knew this already - but I have found a passable way of doing the adidas keepers' long sleeve shirts.

In the editor, set the following layers (using above pic as an example)

Base - 1 Green
D1 - 37 Black
D2 - 21 Black (this makes the whole sleeve under the png image black)
D3 - 16 Green (this and D4 are the long adidas stripes)
D4 - 14 Green
D5 - 28 Green (this blocks off the underside of the black sleeve - and creates the similar effect to the upper sleeve, but will show all the way to the wrist)

Not perfect, but the best I think available.

Already done :)

I use.
Code:
Base Design = 1 - 29, 49, 33

Design 1 = 20 - default black

Design 2 = 14 - 29, 49, 33

Design 3 = 16 - 29, 49, 33

Design 4 = 47 - 29, 49, 33

Cool, which template is 47? I tried to see if there was a thick stripe for the adidas stripes to "sit" on.

I use the full sleeve & shoulder combo design, then I use the png to hide part of the strips & black section, followed buy a side part the runs up the side of the strip & down the inside of the sleeve, giving the desired effect.

I also use the front PNG to shape the part at the collar, I recently, well tonight (before 00:00) updated the Fulham & Hull City keeper tops. I redone the collar section & it looks a lot better.

I may update them again lol tell me what you think, I can't get it identical to the real deal, but I may round off the section at the collar, like before, but with the new collar detail.

Cool, I look forward to seeing them. I'm waiting for a full kitpack before I put them in game (I assume you'll do an EPL pack when you've finished all teams) as I've got the WENB Option file in at the moment.

Are you alternating colours for the adidas keepers? A lot of packs I see are all lime green and black.

Hi mate!

I use the same formula except design 47... Why do you use it?

I maybe do a all in 1 file.

As for keeper colours, I was just doing there home strips, well basically the ones I can find, not easy when you don't watch football & rely on images.

What I may do is when I'm done, go back & redo a few with alt colours & just make them alt keeper strips like I done with Liverpool.

That'll work, but if you want me to sniff about on Google and find some, I'll try.

Rocky, here's some pics of the Adidas GK shirts, to give you some choices.

Southampton

Sunderland

Fulham

West Ham

Hope it helps.

Swansea City please! (Home, Away and Third Kits + Goalkeeper ).

They will get done.

I'm thinking of resaving every strip to the games native resolutions.

ie, 384x384 for tops & 128x128 for everything else.

doing it this way smooths over any jaggies on the shirts & sleeves, but also means I need to redo all images/importing/converting again :-\ the latter should only take about 2 hours or so, so not that long.

Tell me what one you think look better.
Main shirt & right sleeve are different.

Xbox users (if I do resize them all) will only need to replace files, PS3 peeps would need to reimport images & from testing it makes the strips slightly softer looking but removes the harsh jaggieness.

Here is what Newcastle United looks like ingame with the native rez strips.

Whatever you think is best, to be honest I can't see too much of a difference. I don't know if it's just because it's WIP but the Liverpool collar doesn't have a full "V" (the collar ends flat about an inch up from the point.)

Image number 1 looks better (I assume this is the resized one), but there's not much in it.

I don't see a big difference, too.

But I have another suggestion : The default black and white looks a bit unrealistic, i think it would be better too use 3-3-3 or 6-6-6 as black and 56-56-56 or 59-59-59 as white ;) .

Your kits look amazing rocky5! Thank you for making our game look better day by day! Keep it up!

I think image 1 look's better aswell. But I guess it's up to you to decide what to do.

If I may, I would like to agree with silberdavid. In may humble opinion, the default white and the default black ingame look a bit too saturated. I would also suggest a 6-6-6 for black and 56-56-56 for white ;).
