I'm playing the game as Liverpool, in my third season currently half way thru the ML and sitting in 3rd. I need some more solid defenders.
Having never purchased either of these players and both hitting approx 90 in ability I searched for them. I thought they played for Anderlecht

NEITHER are in my game. Neither is Cicinho (or Kikinho as per someone elses spelling)

Are some of the players names incorrect in the game, or is that just Club names and stadiums?

I'm currently at work, and never looked, do international players have the correct names? If not, when these are edited in the game do we end up with double players?

This happened to me in WE8, I had two of several Dutch National Team members, and was a touch frustrating.

I have found this thread http://www.pesinsight.com/showpost.php?p=556159 that has a list of all the national team members, does this mean that the names are incorrect on the game and need changing?

Anyone know?

Anderlecht's player names are wrong in the game, but Kompany's name is correct for the Belgium team.

In Anderlecht, Kompany is called Koltarii. Not sure who Van Buyten is to be honest I know the name but that's it. If you're looking for another good young defender get Kompany's team mate Anthony Vanden Borre, known as Vomme in the game.



PS. Cicinho is called Kikinho. He plays for Sao Paolo on the game but moved to Real Madrid in January in real life.

Sao Paolo can be found on the 'Others B' team screen, under the name Caopaolo. Cicinho/Kikinho should be in there.


However, I have no ideas where these players might be if you're playing ML ... they might have moved!

Thanks, I had no idea that some teams had the players names wrong. I'll fix that tonight!!

Van Buyten plays for Hamburg SV (Bundesliga, just in case you don't know ), not sure what their name is in the unedited clubs
