Is it just me that gets annoyed about the nets in PES?

How difficult could it be to have the nets that the stadiums actually use? Attention to detail Seabass gives a lot of satisfaction and the nets make the goals you score more pleasing.

Sort it out please.

although its not something i would get really annoyed over, i do think that each stadium should of unique nets just like real life

It just makes it that better, some goals look better depending on the nets. OT's nets are quite loose so the ball goes around the net but take Stamford Bridge, the nets are so tight the ball hits the nets and bounces back out.

Just something to keep the game special (bit sad on my part i know lol)

Couldn't agree more!! This has bugged me for ages! Anfield does not have kris cross netting! Give us square premier league nets, it will make the feel of the game so much more realistic! :realmad: rant over

get a grip will you moanin about nets, this is a superficial feature that your asking for, its not important and I hope konami spend time improving the football, the online mode, and the offline game features before they go anyway near some rubbish like this. this should be last thing on their list of improvements.

Yeh, because changing the nets will take all year?! I bet it would be a day job to sort that out. They have the ball physics working, all they need to do is change the nets. If they can do it on PES 6 on the PS2, surely they can do it for a next gen console? Little changes like this keeps the game more interesting, when you play the game for a couple of months, all the goals look the same, different nets and how the ball hits them makes the goals look better / different.

Slightly harshly worded lol but i agree, if you have time to worry about the nets that much you clearly are not concentrating enough in the game!

They need to be square and tight. Why they arent baffles me. What excuse can they have? You see the nets in football kingdom and they look so good, fifa have square nets and its great to feel the net trying to contain your shot so why isnt pes using them?

I can understand you want if for that "feel" as you call it, but it doesnt affect the gameplay at all so i would put it at the bottom of the konami to do list.....

When im running around passing it doesnt but in the final third when i look up it just looks so tacky. When you score a wonder goal its looks great but it could look even better if they just pulled their finger out and made a bloody simple and straight forward improvement that would take all of an hour to implement. They look ok but why should we have to settle for ok when it would take F all effort to make them look real.

Fair enough, but to be honest i dont pay attention to the nets untill the ball hits them and then aslong as the score changes i dont have much of an issue.
