That's exactly why I hate FIFA 10. Every team high or low rank plays THE SAME. Same speed, your defenders, midfielders are all playing the same. I played Bosnia and Herzegowina and beat Argentina 4-2 ?? how often does this happen 99.9% never

I know what you mean but it could simply be that you were alot better than him

LMAO so u want the game to play for you, practice make perfect m8, and about the penalties/free kicks i have had them so no complaints there, last few years we have all complained about the refs giving every little foul, this year now yall complaining about them NOT giving ya the free kicks and penalties Geezzz come on, konimi can't win with ya. tho's that said its a rubbish game i disagree i have played every Pro Evo game to date (yes even the ISS pro games) and they have ALL got better (apart from pes 08 which was a rushed game for a next gen console), i love this version, great graphics, good game play, can score some fantastic goals, but i say this to ya all, can anyone out there make a better game? if so GO DO IT, these guys work there arses off for us and all you do is complain, so my hat goes off to all the workers on this fine game, we can all talk about making a great game, but none of us can ACTUALLY make one can we?, the only thing i would like to see them do is get the Premier League Teams Licensced, but i know thats hard to do when FIFA has all the rights to that, but other than that this is a great game, ok i have said enough now.....

Okay guys. Now that I had a whole month to play the game and had the chance to fully experience the; I have to apologize on one of the points I made and that was about the crosses; I have found that the success of it has to do with the players like the wingers who is doing the crossing. I also I have found that early crosses are quite successful, that is if you set your CF and SS’s cards to reaction and attacking respectively. Most of my goals come from headers.

But sadly the rest of the stuff I mentioned in my first post is still the same. Another thing I is that there is no way to practice penalty kicks or I must be missing something. So far I had three penalties and mist all of them, doesn’t matter which player with a penalty taking card was taking it. Still missing it. I must admit I do enjoy the game to some extend but I guess it's because I don’t really have any other option-FIFA, well I don’t have another couple of cash to throw around getting this game.

Yeah go to practice mode and choose freekick-practice. Then aim inside the box and you will practice penalties as long as you wish.

Some of you guys have a very high tolerance for garbage!

I have been playing footie games since they were invented and i strongly believe that PES 2010 is fucking garbage.

Look how far we are coming from, and to believe that some of us here will tolerate the blind refs, shitty keepers, awful animations, lack of controls, passing lags ......and the fucking list goes on. (add on if you wish)

This is why Konami isn't in any hurry to fix this shit they have been feeding us for the past 3yrs. Because no matter how fucked up the game is ....there are those who will say it is the best game they have played.

For those who are shitting on Fifa, this game has improved...yes i said it ...improved for the better. This is why it is selling more units than PES. fact not opinion. Guess who is buying the game?

Now...I am ...was a huge fan of PES and all i ever wanted was a good online system where i could go beat the shit out of everyone. I have been waiting for 3yrs and it is still fucked up. Guess what ....Fifa works perfectly online.

So for those PES fan boys....get your ass out of Seabass's ass, wash the shit off your face and demand a better game for 2011. I can bet (mark my words) that nothing will change in Pes2011....well maybe the menus, i will give them that.

Ok here's what I think. ISS 64 and 98 on Nintendo 64 had better gameplay than FIFA 2010. That's what I think. The bottom line is, EA don't know how to create a true football simulation like KONAMI does. FIFA 10 and PES 10 are completely two differet games. I hope nobody gets offended, but PES is more for mature folks who know a lot about football and how the game is played. FIFA on the other hand is for people who enjoy flashy graphics, bazzilion unknown teams that they will never even use but they claim FIFA has every major league. I wonder how many times will you use any of these unheard of teams ?!?!

Getting back to FIFA 10. Its a good game and EA are doing a good job so far but I'm afraid to say this, they will never come close to the beautiful game PES&WE offer, NEVER. They had many opportunities and they never delivered.

FIFA 10 does offer total freedom of the pitch, total ball control, 360 deg movement, lots of leagues, official kits, uniforms, teams, chants etc.... and THIS IS WHERE PEOPLE GET LOST...and this is where it ENDS for EA. REAL, SKILLED PLAYERS care about gameplay and let me tell you something: PES10 destroys FIFA 10 when it comes to gameplay.

I have FIFA 10 and I'm selling it for $30 bucks if anyone wants it. Shipping included. I played a few matches online last night and THE GAME HAS NO EXCITEMENT TO IT...POINT BLANK... I don't get a fast heartbeat when I'm defending like I do in PES 10. Scoring goals makes you believe YOU ARE GOOD AT SOMETHING. FIFA 10 is a scripted game and passing/shooting still cannot compare to PES 10, even the damn ball physics.

Someone complained about pitch size in PES 10 ??? HAVE YOU PLAYED FIFA 10 ??? Because FIFA 10 has the smallest pitch ever LOL. Taking a corner kick feels like your next to the goal....

I would like to know what type of drugs YOU are on son ....talking bout "PES is for more mature folks..." getdafuckouttaherewiddatshit.
its a VIDEOGAME and its rated "E". I hope you know what the E means.

"FIFA 10 does offer total freedom of the pitch, total ball control, 360 deg movement, lots of leagues, official kits, uniforms, teams, chants etc.... and THIS IS WHERE PEOPLE GET LOST"

Are you serious......:w00t

Seriously ...you musta been damn high when you wrote this. :D

Do you realize you are contradicting yourself?

Leave Fifa alone man .....

Wont get dragged into another boring FIFA / PES debate but I have played the FIFA demos and it just doesnt feel right... What I will also though is that it is harder and harder to defend Konami as a company and to defend PES (crap online or alternatively play an inept AI). I wont be buying it next year because I can guarantee it will just be a slight update on what we have now and to be honest they dont deserve my dough.

Hey Doug,

Don't want the debate either. I respect your honest opinion also, Fifa may not be the game for everyone but PES/Konami really messed up a great title. I will not be buying 2011 either .....well unless i hear that the online is definitely ironed out at least.

I have just upgraded from PS2 to an Xbox 360 and I have played Pro Evo for at least 10 years. So I was really looking forward to 2010 on my new toy, but...

I really don't know what to say. I want to love it, I should love it... but I just don't.

Here are my biggest issues with the game...

Trying to delicately / accurately cut the ball back or through pass for a player to smash the ball into the net from six yards... But no! Either the pass goes straight into the keepers arms or back toward the halfway line.

Also, what's with the shooting? I must have hit the Bar / Post more times than I have actually scored!
And why is it that when I do score, I feel very little satisfaction?

Also, I really am not happy about the Options. I hate accumilated fatigue. I want to turn it off, but I can't.

I'm also used to playing with the "Wide Angle" with a level 6 Tilt - no option for this!!!

And what's with having to complete all leagues to unlock Classic Players? Now I find myself using the "Leave to Coach" option so I can hurry the season through!

Also, not enirely happy with the faces of the players. How many players have the same face, just different haircut!?!?

Konami have had 3-4 years to get this right for both XBox 360 & PES3. So why have they not changed the format to become become like the loved PS2 versions but with far superior graphics?
Come on Konami, listen to your people!!!
I feel the PS2 version of PES (upto 2010) requires real skill, ability and vision.

Pes 6 on the PSP with a dumbed down ML and no player development is much, much funner to play than any next gen PES.

The communities love affair with all this "lets slow the gameplay down" shit is absolutely destroying this game and i wish they would shut up about it. Pes on PS2 was fucking amazing and the PSP aint far behind. Those games are quick, responsive and definitely FAST.

Well, I have had it, after a month of playing PES 2010 for PS3. I traded in FIFA 10 for it, hoping for a more realistic simulation, but it feels like I am controlling humanoid sandbags rather than footballers. I have been playing this for a month, and I am just fed up with the poor animations...players run like they just goosed in their shorts. The whole experience is just weird, soulless, and doesn't look or feel like football. So....maybe I should go back and get FIFA again.

Tbh all the PES' on ps2 were all nippy and quick. The result of what happens when you slow down the gameplay too much is no more evidant than in pes 2009. Unless you have decent control of your player, slick annimationss and a good passing mechanic then slowing the gameplay down will only ever make Pes look clunky and robotic. It needs to move fast and speedy to make it look good.

On a side note, Pes 6 on the psp rules and i encourage people to buy it. On the back of the Pes 6 box it says, "Features: Breath-taking graphics & annimations, improved gameplay and realism, new camera angles...". Those are the exact features we should have now in the current series of Pes games and we are getting nowhere near those sorts of features. Ill be long dead before they get annimations up to the same level of pes 6.

It makes me really angry when i look at the back of the box. "Express yourself!" it says leading onto comments about "slick passing moves" and "150 individual moves". Its like its mocking me.

I like to be able to decide wich move to pull off depending on wether a defender is closing in or not. PES original gamespeed is nothing like that, you'll have to just blindly pull off moves and hope the timing isn't too much off, then push the shoot button before you really see if your path is completely blocked etc. In PES you need to sprint more in one half than Aaron Lennon do in half a season for real, ontop of that, in PES a slow player sprint across the pitch faster than Usain Bolt would sprint a real pitch even if he was on a combination of Amphetamines and Ethedrine. My point is, it's too much...

I wish they would do a good job with the animations next time, instead of speeding it up so we can't see how crap it really is.

PS. I actually enjoy PES even it seems like I don't from the above text. I would just like many things changed for the better (in my opinion) in the future, that's all.
