KONAMI IS RIDICULOUS (read and you'll agree)

If Konami has the german national team license they could have any players that already have played for the German National Team with a proper face. The same thing for other players from licensed National Teams. That way you would have faces to put in the Bundesliga when you make it. If you buy a National Team's license, automatically you have access to all the players that ever played for that National Team, that way It wouldn't be necessary to play with build faces or stupid photos. (Hleb will not have face). They could just put all the players they could a free agents in the unregistred players, that way It would be smart and easy. I guess they just have not enough brain to think of that (when you updated PES 2009 Pizarro face disappeared). Hleb is the next one!!!

Well I was wondering if they have acquired the German National Team license then why not the German League license? that way we would have another league there with all the real teams, players, kits etc! a game without the Bundesliga is pretty stupid!

Yes, its very strange not having the Bundesliga license because if they have the National Team they must have the Deutscher Fussball Bund DFB License that is also responsable for the Bundesliga. If they have this license (and they must) they would have players rights for the Women and Men National Team and each and every german player. Besides they have the licenses of most of the important world national teams so they could just pick everyone they think that deserves a face and put them in the unregistred players. Also I think that the classic players are not licensed because KONAMI guys are just LAZYYYYYYYYY. Those players have no agreements with no football federations anymore so they could have their licenses pretty easily. Some of them are even dead!!! I think KONAMI is just very very very dumb (They sure make the greatest football game but...)

EA has the license for the Bundesliga I thought everyone knew this?

Indeed, but EA had that same license in 2005, the year of the last last PES (5) in which there was unlicensed bundesliga teams, but fully licensed players... I don't know how all the legal stuff works, and so I fail to understand why Konami no longer include top division German teams in the game, in the manner they used to.

If there was a loophole wouldn't you think the billion dollar lawyer companies they pay to get these agreements wouldn't have found it?

Getting licenses is not as simple as getting a candy from a kid(even that you need to be careful so that the kid shut up) Getting the national teams licenses doesnt mean you can get away with the faces and all. If Klose have the choice to have 2 licenses agreement:

- one with German nationla teams and one with the Bundesliga(two licenses means 2 chance to get more money)
- the other with only national teams only and we can use his face in the bundesliga anyway we want

which one will he choose?

Are Konami not already exploiting a loophole by including the Premier League unlicensed? (Excluding Liverpool & Man Utd.) So why don't they do the same for the Bundesliga? Or other Leagues? Having 2nd tiers of countries leagues already included would B ideal too, especially for Master League. (ie. Coca Cola Championship, Ligue 2, Serie B etc.)

To my knowledge... the national license is different to the national league license, the german fa can sell their rigths to the german national team but when it comes to the league it gets complicated... the fa rule the league butuefa rule them and then fifa are in charge of them, then the clubs own their own logos and copyrights, then the players own thier own imaging rights....i believe to get the rights to the league they need the permission of the fa but need to pay fifa for it and fifa have delas in place with fifa10(the game) so they favour that, pes could pick up all the licenses to teams seperatly but buying say bayern, schalke dortmund and werder bremen would cost an awful lot and they would still be in other leagues, kinda like what they did with united and liverpool in the England League, they couldnt get an english license so they bought united and pools rights seperatley...
Now another point is fifa seem to own national team rights or are in control of them but some nations must demand money to be in games like the netherlands(always hassle getting there license for some reason)....

also off point but should the title of this thread not be konami are ridiculous and not is... theres more then person workin for them(doesnt seem it at times though)

I dont understand all the commotion on this. Yes, the Bundesliga is indeed not in this year as well as the older versions of PES.

Solution: Wait a couple of weeks until a patch / option file becomes available which will allow you to add all the Bundesliga teams to Other Leagues C.

Just enjoy the game and don't keep whining about the licenses! We all know that big bucks EA have got almost all the licenses and that Konami is allways struggling to claim those licenses which is apparently not easy, ohterwise surely more teams would be licensed!

they buy the united and pool ones seperatley off the clubs themselves, they could buy them all if they wanted but theyd go bankrupt, it costs alot to get a whole leagues licenses privatley, even bayerns alone would cost a hefty bit alone...

only reason they have United and Liverpool is because they bought the gaming rights to the old PS games the clubs brought out a few years ago that werent very good.. thats also how they got the Champions League, as they bought the gaming rights to the CL from the company that made the CL game a few years back..
Think Real , Barca and Arsenal had same club game out... that didnt work so konami snapped up the rights..

Look, for those who think I'm just supposing, I am NOT. Having the Deutscher Fussball Bund license doesn't mean you have the Bundesliga, it simply means and I am sure of that because I am studying to be a lawyer in Portugal, is that: IF YOU BUY THE DFB LICENSE you have access to the rights of every player that plays or played for that national team. Why do you think they have faces like Frings and Klose? Its because they have access to them! they couldn't buy the license "by player" because the license belongs to the bundesliga and the bundesliga license was bought by FIFA. Although, DFB has its own rights and those rights include having the players appearance license "also" for them. KONAMI just doesn't seem to want to put the other german or any other countries players faces in the unregistred, just like they did when the PES 2009 update came, they took out players like Pizarro, Gravesen and Rivaldo instead of putting them in the unregistred, maybe they just don't care about faces. I do!!!
