Konami need to take out the transfer embargo

The transfer embargo in MLO is ruining transfers. When a certain amount of users get hold of a player, then there is the prohibition in place to prevent you from buying him until a certain time. However it never seems to get lifted, only extended.

And it also applies when trying to sale a player who has a transfer embargo.

This transfer embargo thing has been very puzzling and annoying. I'm trying to figure out how it works...

It seems like 90 is the magic number of owners for a transfer embargo to kick in. This lasts about 3 hours, yet when the embargo is supposed to be over its still impossible to buy the player. As you mentioned, it seems like it just gets extended. As far as I can tell its been practicably impossible to buy someone like Mphela during the last 24 hours.

My theory is that as soon as the embargo is lifted and one person buys the player, the transfer embargo is active again. This could explain why most of the popular players at the moment (Mphela, Di Natale, etc) have around 100 owners: 90 when the transfer embargo kicked in and then one additional owner every 3 hours...

It does get lifted but like you said for only a short time. I managed to snap up falcao quickly before it was prohibited again.

It's so stupid, because you can't sell your own player because of it.

It would work well if the player become available at the time they said it would, as it is good in that it stops everyone buying the same players all time. So you see more varied teams when up against opponents.

And it would be good if konami could be bothered to explain how it works in more detail considering it's a new feature in MLO.

Yep it's soooooo frustrating. Been trying to buy a certain player and his embargo was supposed to end 45 mins ago. Grrrrr

Never had a problem with it. Nobody I've wanted to buy has ever been on it. Just means you're being unoriginal, as there are tons of players out there.

I think it should stay, but from the problems I've read about it, it definitely needs fixed, especially for ppl who can't sell a player.

A good idea would be to have a sellers waiting list for when the embargo drops. Then it'll automatically release that player for you as it could really mess with ppl's finances.

Without it MLO would be boring as hell. Same players every game like last year.

Advanced search option is your friend

I thnik a completely differrent transfer system needs to be in place, one which forces basically for all players to be bought in similar quantities by the MLO players.

Say there are 250,000 MLO players, and say 10,000 available players on MLO transfer market. As each player need say 25 players, there needs to be there needs to be 10 copies of each player only on the market. (250,000/10,000*25)

The one who offers the most for the player gets the player, and after that u have to make offers to the player who has the player u want to buy them, kind of like it works in the real world lol

The embargo was on last years too, just seems that they've majorly cocked up the ceiling limitations, I've a favourite list of loads of players & does seem to be difficult to buy (or sell) when the magic 90 owners kick in. Nothing to do with unoriginal it's far too low, 200 would be better.

U can still buy and sell those players at the mentioned time.
Just need to spam sell/buy for a few minutes and it always works.
Afcourse i agree with u , they should take it out but like i said u can still buy or sell those player u just need to wait a while in some cases.

I've been wanting to buy Borini since day one (last Friday when the game came out). But he has been on this embargo thing for however long I could remember. I do think that it needs to be made abit more clear on how it works as people are just confused at the moment. I also think that 90 owners per per player (if that's what the number is) is abit too less considering the fact that there will be some popular/good players which almost everyone would like to have, or try out at some point.
