i just turned on my ps3 and went to play pro wen a message said i am playin off the wrong software for the gaem and proceeded to download version 1.1 of the game software!i had just got a hd tv thou so i dunno if its runnin smoother ort not is this the patch?

I promise you I've just downloaded it now. 4pm I've played around a little and the gameplay seems a bit smoother and possibly slower. Online is still stuttery but better and given the time of day was no worse than pro evo 6 on ps2

ye i jus turnt on my ps3 and it said the same thing. I dont think its for HD TV's as i dont have one. dont notice any difference

This update msg came up when you started the game or when you went to play online?
Also Im in the US do you think this patch will be available to me?

i'm in the US too, unfortunately, I'm at work so I can't really tell you if it'll work or not.

I would think it would, as long as your ps3 is hooked up to an internet connection and you log into your PSN account. from there, once you boot the game, you should get prompted immediately.

Kinda like what's done with Socom or Motorstorm

majority have stated that it's fixed the offline slowdown by reducing the graphics of the players.

others have said that the patch has fixed 95% of the online lag.

I can't say for sure because I'm not at home at the moment
