Konami of Europe has confirmed that the Xbox version of its highly acclaimed Pro Evolution Soccer 5 will be compatible with the next-generation Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system from Microsoft®.

Pro Evolution Soccer 5 has been described as the most authentic and realistic football title for any format, and has been riding high in the Xbox charts since its release on October 21st. It is one out of more than 200 Xbox games that will play on the new Xbox 360 and will only serve to extend its appeal. Pro Evolution Soccer 5 expands on the realism and total control that has become the bedrock of the popular series and has earned it a legion of fans. Fresh emphasis is placed on realism, with more physical battles between the players, more instinctive turning and passing, while shooting is considerably more realistic and is dependent on the player timing when they strike the ball while running. The new game also features the series' stunning Master League mode wherein players build and lead a team to victory, and Xbox® Live™ compatibility with up to four players competing in real time.

two questions about this and i apologize if this had been asked before, but after a search i only found this one specific thread..

does anyone know if the US version of winning eleven 9 for the Xbox will be compatible with the 360?

Second, will the PE 5 for the xbox work on a US 360??????????

WE9 US version for Xbox MUST be compatible with US Xbox 360.
PES5 Xbox on US Xbox 360... hmm don't think so different region.

you'll find all the info required and the following options to update your 360...

1. Update through Xbox Live.
2. Burn a DVD or CD.*
3. Order a disc by mail from Xbox.com.

...I created the DVD update with Nero, if doing so
remember to check the 'xiso' option in udf tab
or
in Nero 7's udf tab - under Advance heading -
check box to 'Enable Xbox compatiblity mode'.

hey, i was curious if you have to update American 360's to play Winning Eleven 9 on them? Thanks for any help!

But they forgot to mention, that it does not support 720p so if you own a HDTV it will look crap, because it streches the picture. Well you could play on a little squre in the middle of the screen but that really sucks!

I hope they'll make a xbox 360 title soon!
