To the people who like the game, you cant disagree that Konami have messed up yet again because look hoat some of the pro evo fanboy annoyance and switching, it obviously means they have done something wrong.

Plus at the fifa forums, I see annoyance at fifa 09 but its not going as far as converting.

I think Konami need to rethink their whole pro evo plan now because what they are doing now is simply not working.

I know a lot of you like the game but pro evo has lost to fifa again this year and the people who are too arrogant to admit it just says 'oh fifa is for kids', poor comment to make tbh and very insulting.

Everyone I know are finding pes 2009 really disappointing, the movement animations and match atmosphere is really poor, it doesnt seem like its similar to what you watch on tv.

Fifa is getting so realistic, while playing it my dad walked in and asked me what match was on (lol at him, he must of heard the sound before actually seeing what was on the tv)!

I think Konami made pes 2009 a arcadish game on purpose and tbh I want to slap whoever's idea that was because it was utterly stupid.

Im hoping pro evo 2010 will be good but this lack of improvements will just mean Konami has to play catch up with EA and they are far behind.

i too feel its gone arcadey and fifas gone realistic but the fanboys now praise a game they once slagged off (fifa of old arcade gameplay)
all my mates agree they had the chance to blow us away by comin back with a top true next gen game

I agree with you Ricz, PES is loosing to Fifa. Though I think PES2009 is better the 2008.
But do yourself a favor, get use to it. With EA's aggressive eksklusive rights politic. I will not be surpised when it is announcement that EA has eksklusive rights to all leagues, clubs and player names in football like they have with NFL in the USA. And then we can kiss all good games goodbye then EA will stop all development of the Fifa series like they did with Madden

I liked it at first.
But then I noticed the AI is fucking retarded.
Defensive blunders cost me every game, horrible goal keeping, and the online is pretty shit your players become even more retarded they dont even go for the ball.

It's an average game. Unless this update sorts shit out then I'm taking it back.

The games alright tbh, but in my honest opinion there are many problems with lot of the things hope they fix it in the update.

Arsenal are a disaster on this game.

everything is so good, you guys need to learn how to play the game.

Some people moan at pes08 but pes09 is so good. but if you guys like fifia have fifa.

But PES09 IS great no problems online no problems with the legand part of the game too.

So get over yourself fifa fans im sure 80% of people who love pro will agree with me too.

Sorry mate, but I can tell you there definetly is still problems. I lost a game 4-1 when 3 of his goals all came from severe lagging where the ball & players just jump about, teleporting, you simply can't play it whengets to it's worst. I've had matches with next to no lag, but others have had to be abandonned or have been ruined due to poor network connections.

I like Pes 2009, it´s a very good game. I´v tried to play Fifa but it´s to easy for me. I think Fifa is for kids and if you are older than 10+ and like Fifa you might simply be on drugs, sick or lack of brains :(
For me, Pes is a hard game, to play it you have to think, where to pass the ball, open up spaces and so on. I see some people post alot here on this forum about how bad Pes is and how Fifa is great :) Do you have time to play Fifa then? or meet your girlfriend or boyfriend, friends, family? Some of you who keep on coming here praising Fifa look like they simply have no life, no friends? :( It´s sad :( very sad

I'm not sticking up for FIFA or anything, I actually prefer PES 2009 because of it's gameplay, but surely the people who are sticking up for PES must be the same. These people must have time to play PES, so surely they must have no life or friends either according to your logic.

You can't slag the people who play FIFA for finding time to play a video game as you and everyone else on this forum does also.

Think you better re-think your argument

Really, post this in the FIFA or "I hate PES" forum. If you want to slag off the game do it in the appropriate thread because tbh the majority of people on this forum (considering this is PES forum. Imagine that, people liking PES posting on a pes forum!) like the game and could care less what your gripes are with it. But the mods were nice enough to provide whiners with their own little thread. I recommend you post there.

According to his logic you must have no life because you come on a forum and talk for hours about a game you hate. Seems like it makes sense to me.

I love pes 2009 and hate Fifa but Pes 2009 isnt enough. They just could of implemented so many things which would of had a profound result on the final product which would of made it such a better game like decent sounds, good commentary, online leagues and modes, annimations and much more that if they had listend to us would of been included.

Its not a case of disliking Pes because of fifa for me its that they still need to change and add soo much that its making the game stale and repetitive. The annoying thing is that the things missing can so easiliy be put rite that i feel like im banging my head into a brick wall.
