Like the first comment on the link says, I highly doubt they will do anything.

I have to say I didn't think it was a issue when I heard about it but after playing a bunch of matches I can say that I've been f-cked by the cursor many times.. mostly when I pass sometimes it doesn't change to the receiving player and sometimes it does. (playing on semi-auto mode)

I like it when your pass is deflected, the ball is sitting there, and the only guy you can switch to is the guy you originally intended to pass to, or the guy who passed the ball, while one of your players is within spitting distance of getting the ball but is absolutely impossible to switch to.

This really affects me when playing 2v2 with my mates online, I'll have the ball then the cursor will change to him being the guy in control. Really bugs me and hope they get it sorted asap.

why not just change it back to what it was on pro 1 - 6 the proper MANUAL cursor not this semi assist / assisted non sense

bout time they looked into it... while i've conceded a few goals due to this issue, most times i'm able to retrieve the situation.... but i've lost count the number of times my attacks broke down when i cant select the player i want when i make a pass... its even worse when i slide the ball across the face of goal... i have 2 players wide open in the center and none of them even bother moving towards the ball cuz i can't select them (its like the situation where even if the ball accidentally hits them its in the back of the net)... the ball ends up heading to the guy on the far side who juz so happens to have a defender in his face...

My question is that it was such an obvious thing I don't know how they allowed the game to release knowing that there was this problem

Hallelujah indeed.. Hard to understand how Konami has messed up with the FUNDAMENTALS of game so bad when they've been working well or at least almost well for years.. I do a feint, and whoa suddenly my friend has the player in control.. ok?

And this is the worst, just listen.. yesterday we were playing and it happened twice in one match. AI got a penalty, as I was putting out a sliding tackle with my player. Completely clean one. But at the same time another player in a box came into my control so I actually did 2 sliding tackles at one button press. And AI got a penalty cause my guy did tackle an opposition striker in a box.. Very far from ball.. great! :shocking:

And also happened again in same match, press tackle, 2 guys do it in exactly the same time.. Luckily only this twice it happened but still.. Gotta also try switching off the "automatic tackle" thing, I think there was a possibility. But I really think this was cause of cursor change bugs.

I agree with you there. You'd think that the game testers would be able to spot bugs such as these, and sort them out way before the final retail game was released.

Saying that, I'd love to be a game tester for PES next year - I'd get it done! :cool:

Game testing is not about playing the game at all it is more to do with opening and closing menus or other mundane, repetitive tasks. I have a friend who does it and he says it is not what you think

Of course it's "hyped", but testing the game would surely involved finding glitches like this, and trying to iron them out before the final game is released?

yes that is game testing, but aparently that is not how its done at Konami or in fact most games companies these days ??? :(

I wish that Pes2012 would be Pes2011,2. Just ironing the current pes and give us like an "Expansion" etc.etc. Whatever they want to call it, but ironed 2011 would be really good. I'd prefer Pes2011,2 over Bugged 2012,0 anyday.
