I'm wondering why its important to change their nationalities? Do you mean if Konami did them wrong or..?

no, the blank players i think he means. if you turn them into a championship side you have to leave them with default nationalities

^It seems I might be wrong on this one, a couple of posts have been made over at Pesfan by people who have the game, and they reckon you can change the nationalities of other leagues B players (blank players) ... there's a link in one of the other threads
