not for me, online is crap and unplayable and lots of people are having this problem. I havent heard anything from konami and they havent evem put a post up saying that its something they are working on and it will improve.

i wanted to feel like this :dancer:

but i feel the opposite.

I'm finding online very frustrating. It almost seems to be an advantage to have a poor connection. The couple of seconds between pressing an action and it taking place usually means I've run the ball out or run into trouble. However my opponents with their red connection don't seem to have this problem

I started looking for opponents with better connections in the match room, but most of the time the connection is not as good as stated before kick off

my light is allway green or yellow and i only play agianst players with the same. BUT as soon as i go in to a game thier light changes to amber and i get all the button lag out of about 15 to 20 games i've had 1 game witch was just about playable.. i'm not very good at pro evo online but i would like a fair crack at the whip!!!!

ive played 3 games online had a 100% win record, but in the 4th match i won 3-1 agaisnt barca then before it came to the return to lobby menu, the connection just paused. then when i went back to check my profile it put it down as a 3-0 loss. this pissed me right off like! before this there was only 1 other match that had lag.

Glad its not just me with the button lag! Its absolutely ridiclous and the game is un-playable online!

I have checked on konamis speed checker and i have 3 A’s, so its not my end. PES 09 played fine till I traded it in.

Played 6 ranking games and lost all 6 hardly leaving my half. The other players didn’t seem to be having button lag, which is very frustating as I have yet to have a match out of about 20 without severe button lag.

I’ve now gone on everyday at different times and try a friendly match and its the same result. I do remember 09 being being pretty poor in the 1st few weeks online with defenders not responding, so hopefully this will be fixed??

Does anyone know of any impending updates/patches that will correct this button lag?

maybe a patch... (watever that is lol) excuse my ignorance lol

Mayb youv all got crap connections Iv played 30 matches and never get lag exsept on the rare occasion.

This is total BS.
I have a GREAT connection and I get the lags on this game.
Only on PES. So don't go telling these people that they're wrong. PES online is clearly still fkd

Same here. Im getting 3 A's but when I go online the lag is huge,only players I can play with without any lag are players from my own country. It really sucks.
I even tried plugging the modem directly to the PS3,bullshit,its exactly the same.

Listen, all of your games will be laggy mine are its disgusting however if you want a kind of 'cleaner' match you're going to have to search for one for about 30mins. This is terrible, look at FIFA, you search in 5 secs you play. Online will never be like PES 6

I have a thoery about this. Whether its right i dont know tho.

Basically, when you just setting up the game there is little data being transmitted so connections show up as excellent/good...

As soon as kick off begins and/or you enter the team selection setup a much larger volume of data is being exchanged......I reckon its something to do with the ports that pro evo is using and due to larger amounts of data the firewall/router is over analysing the data which is slowing down tranmission of data and deteriorating the connection.

What routers and ISPs are people using who are experiencing problems ?

i played mu first game against someone which was terrible i lost 4 - 1 duo to the lag.
I almost gave up!!!!
Then i changed the options to only play people in england the next game was lag free totaly different game.

I think the button lag thing is still (tho not as bad) in the offline game!! every one ive talked to says it just seems to be off! shooting and passing a millisecond off leaving players to colide with each other and PINBALL! begins!

Absolute and utter gash once again from Sony...Played 4 games all lag filled, same old people choosing R Madrid (this years barca) cheap goals, poor GK and defence AI...So dissapointed with the shoddy games online, only good for BAL and single player Master League!!

I played my first and only game so far. I went arsenal the other boy from spain went real madrid. Got beat 6-1. One of which was an own goal because of the delay. i passed back to the keeper and walked it over the line. Always seemed to be 1 pass behind. I think i will stick to my master league.
