Those were the days *sobs nostalgically*

But anyway, my minds made up. I'm going to get an Xbox 360 for PES6 as the wait for PS3 is becoming painfull. It'll be at least a year after release before PS3 is affordable to me (with release prices at £550 at present), and the chances of anyone actually getting a PS3 before xmas is slim. And as PES6 won't be on PS3, i just can't wait 'till next October for PES7. If PS3 does live up to the hype then i can always flog the 360.

I'm surprised that most of you think the first 6 images are 360, common sense dictates that they are not, Konami would never port "exact games" onto a next gen system, not with Fifa already putting out 2 games and with FIFA 07 around the corner.

Throughout the year games that have been coming out on multiple consoles (both prev. gen and next gen) have their screenshots bunched together, this is no different.

Only 1 is from the 360.Render means not "ingame",but it means it is made with the engine of the game so the screen is close to what we will seen(maybe the graphics will be even better).I give the model max 10 000 polygons which is not even close to the most next gen models(around 50 000).You people dont belive the 360 can handle this?Or you dont belive KONAMI are making changes of this aspect?I cant understand you.

More screenshots from the Next-Generation Pro Evolution Soccer game have been made available by Konami. All images concentrate on the cover star for the upcoming game, Adriano.

Original?

PS3 will have the first true next-generation PES I expect as Sony and Konami have a 'good business relationship.'

i dunno original?...remember xbox was first to get online play...which definitely pissed off a lot of ps2 owners..myself included....so i think the 360 one will be excellent!

If the first next gen pes will be on the 360 then i can just see myself picking one up and as someone else said flog it if it looks and plays better on the ps3!

might be doing that myself as well...but im seriously doubting ps3 right now...overpriced...they're copying off of the wii...and i don't think the graphics are going to be much different from the 360...could be well wrong on all this thogh...just my humble thoughts

Konami will not w8 for ps3 to release next gen pro evo konami know pro evo is massive in europe they will deff release next gen version on 360 and as for ps3 its all hype none of the reviews i seen say anything postive apart from the few things they ripped off the 360 and to top it all off we find out all the clips off supposed in game footage are actually renderd movies it isnt any suprise to me tho they tried same crap with ps2.

in an interview with seabass in a 360 magazine, he said that there would be a very big improvement in the graphic department, and seabass would not lie to us.

It'll be a shame if it is exactly the same on the 360, but they've kept quiet about it and I think that says something. I think they'll release a next gen version for the 360. PS fans are obviously going to be disappointed if they do because they'll be waiting for the console to be released initially and then the game, while, in the meantime, the 360 owners will be playing it.

Looks like a xbox game, pretty average graphics, crowd not in 3D, no coaches etc on the bench and still blocky look to charachter model.

I hope they do not create a direct port that has additional lighting etc as it is a waste of time and money, we want a new immersive experience that you can say wow thank god for the xbox360.

just bought a 360 and i cant wait for pes, iam sure it will be a big improvemnt and thats absolute rubbish about it being the same. Playing fifa wolrd cup at the moment which is a big graphical improvement so that should set the benchmark although gameplay not a patch on pes

What about the PC version. Would it be a next gen version on pc? I'ld love that since I haven't got a xbox360. But maybe a little less next gen Lol.
No but seriously these times a pc could handle it.
