Basically, league rosters in ML that update on the fly.
Example: When playing ML with Man U (with this new mode selected), the com tells you at the next trade window that your ownership has decided that it is in the best interest of the club to trade C Ronny to Madrid. You also receive Michael Owen, lose Tevez, etc. To make this simpler for Konami to implement, it could just be a list at the trade deadline of ins/outs for your club without any written (BS) explanations given. You might also call this deal with it mode because it adds to the challenge. That's not all there is to it though, because the major advantage is what it provides for people who are major fans of a particular team (who isn't), but it also opens up the game to different ways of playing, for example, imagine you were using Madrid or Man City this year and how much you would be looking forward to all your new players.
Of course, you should also have the option to accept or reject these changes if you want. This would add tons of longevity and realism to the ML mode by making the transfers mirror the roster updates as closely as possible. You would really see the benefit of this when playing against CPU teams five years into your ML, and they are all properly updated teams (with a few exceptions) as opposed to some really weird trades that you can do nothing but laugh at. Personally, I don't think Konami, or any game company will ever be able to properly simulate a proper player market trading system, because some of the trades that happen in real life aren't even believeable! They only become believable once they actually happen, but if the same trade happened in due to the CPU in PES we would all think it was bullocks. This would also be great for introducing new players into ML without having to start a whole new campaign. For example, players who weren't in the game until the latest roster update.
In order to make this happen, some difficult things need to be achieved by Konami. When Owen leaves Newcastle, for example, he may need to be replaced by a youth player if Newcastle’s roster is too low. Also, it may be that you play your ML using Barca, and you have C Ronny in your squad… So, when it comes the time for him to move to Real, that transfer would come to you, not Man U. In other words, you are able to add players to your squad, or release them, but the rest of the football world will be as close as possible to the most recent roster updates, most of the exceptions being due to what changes you have caused in the fantasy league.
This would be somewhat difficult to pull off, but I think it would be worth it since it would give us a new way to play ML.
PEACE
