I just saw this today and I was about to post it. The power bar is cool and all, but remember we already had one. It just wasn't accurate imo.

The problem was, we needed one for passing and lobs. Hopefully, this power bar has nothing to do with the manual right analogue stick.

That can't be true it looks exaclty like PES 2010 and the power bar is very ugly, remember me of FIFA 2002.

just from the pic you can see the animation is better than pes 2010, looks just like messi, better player model than 2010. Looks very real, graphically it looks similiar, but pes 2010 graphs are good anyway

You people read too much into the slightest thing. We're at the stage where they will fiddle with ideas and theoretically take them out completely. That's also one graphic that shows me nothing I can judge the game or its development by.

Spot on there Don. People tend to over analyze every single info that has come out about Pes 2011. This pic has only one thing, it has a powerbar but we have that already, I like it though and the teaser tells me very little as well. It just funny how easy it is for company´s to hype a game up.

yeah, I agree its a short teaser. But pes 2010 pretty much played and looked like the teaser last year.

we'll just have to wait and see, u cant tell cos the screen is a still, the only motion we have is the teaser which looks alot smoother than 2010

I really don't want to be pessimistic, but we must face the reality. From the teaser I deduced that Messi passed the same way like in PES 2010 and some animations are unchanged. Not the complete overhaul I was expecting. Some may claim that I didin't play yet the game and I shoudn't judge, but that's exactly what people were saying last year after the first trailer.
I hope I'm wrong,but I fear I might be right.

I understand your pessimism, I wasnt happy with Pes 2010, im still playing pes 5 everyday. However to me the whole teaser is different, the way he controls it off the chest brings it under control with 2 feet, all new. If u look closely when he receives the ball for a second time he does a little skip to get in position to control the ball with the outside of his boot. None of these little details are present in 2010. We'll find out more on Jun 1st. Hopefully some gameplay vids will lessen your pessimism.
