Little Confused, OPTION FILE?

Hi all, first of all first day here, so bear with me.

I have a non modded 360. 2 years ago I bought something called X sata?? actually I paid for it, my lil bro got it and we actually downloaded an option file for WE9, and that was awesome.

2 years later, my lil bro is now GONE :(, and I am clueless as to how he got it done.

Any Help would well appreciated, and one more thing, I am a newb when it comes to these things.

Ive never used a XSata, however i think theres a wire or lead that connects your HDD to the Computer..then you turn on your console and something pops up on the PC and you drag it from the Desktop to the HDD. Not entirely sure but its along those lines. :)

Im sure someone will know...thats what we are here for :).

Thanks a bunch PESFAN92, you sure know how to make a fellow welcomed. I have it tucked away here, these wires/wire. So I guess I need, a FILE, soh I can save it here on my laptop, then need to hook up my Sata thing, and it will be a simple Drag and Drop?

I know you said you don't know much, but me trying to explain something, is probably how I learn, if that makes any sense to you at all.

I did. I found a nice one by gjsmith. He explains a lotta things. I still haven't been able to find the file. I am sorry I sound dumb as bell, but I assure you, this is not my thing.

Mate, if you go to GJSMITH V3 option file, the link aswell as clear instruction are on page 1. You wil need to download the correct file out of the two. Just read the instruction.

I did it not long ago and it isnt too complicated if you just follow the isntructions step by step.

But for me, the option file isnt enough, im thinking of getting it modded, but that is very complicated.

Yes, the Option Files around are good, they are based on Player Apperances, Stats and so-forth, but because of the limits that Konami have given us this year, there are hardley any kits, the only ones are the "Photo-kits" which is a good idea, but in my opinion Konami probably could and should have used that fuction better.

Now modding is a completely different thing. I'm lucky enough to get my XBOX chipped/modded the weekend all i need is the skill to patch the game, which i do, i understand the "making a copy of PES on your PC" ect ect, but my skills at GGS are not that good, but im working on it. There are some great members on here who can help with modding.

I am reading the whole topic over and over, once I get home, I am going to try it.

Now, I think these simple changes will do for me, as I dont wanna risk being banned from live.

The GJSMITH v3 Option File will NOT work for the US version of PES 2008. I think us Americans are screwed!!

Any other suggestions?

I think it had something to do with the game file name, the Euro Version is PES 2008, the US version is PES (US). I could be wrong.

OH man, now that I was getting the hang of it.

$hit mate, i didnt realise you were ver there, id just do alot of searching of AMerican PES websites, thats probably your best chance of finding an option file. Unless someone knows any better?

PESFAN92 - Im considering getting this done in the future, but what ive read up on it, it just sounds very very complicated. Far beyond my fairly decent computer know how. I literraly wouldnt know where to start.

Once you have done yours could you give a brief outline of what it all intails?

I been looking, I ll tell you that, you guys seem to be more organized and all. Right now, I am updating as much as I can on my own. But hope is the last one die, right?

I'm not modding it:D , my next door neighbour is, he's an absolute genius when it comes to computers, and for free aswell.:w00t
