Liverpool kit picture

I'm new to editing for Pro Evo 08 and am aware at the moment you can only do 8 kits per save. However, I have downloaded a couple of option files and believe i have found the .png which acts as the kit image. But I felt they could be slightly improved if i am correct.
I had a quick bash at the liverpool shirt but I cannot load it on my PS3 at the moment so here it is if somebody wants to save it and give it a try??

I'm surprised I thought liverpool fans would be lapping this up as I think its one of the best quality images I've seen.

id lap up the westham one if you can improve on the one from the mccroix option file. at present there is a huge visable square in the middle of the shirt

thanks, well i could try a bit harder but I'm keen to see whether its necessary. I'm at uni without my PS 3 :no: so i cannot test them for a while

thanks mate, i can't believe how good it looks.

i have replaced the maccroix image, called it ICON0, put it on the USB stick and it comes up with the image. but when i copy it to the ps3 the image is gone, and when i load the scan in edit mode, it is still loading up the (crap) maccroix image!

How can it still be that image when i have replaced it with yours? i think i need some help.

thanks again though, and if i can work out how to do it i would love an away kit too.


EDIT: i guess its because i just replaced the image but not the other files (PARAM.PFD, PARAM.SFO, DATA.BIN) is that what is wrong? god im confused

im pretty sure those images you see are just a preview you see for the file in the saved file area. The actual kit data is in the .bin file.

The .png file is only a preview file (i.e. it is the image you see when you go to Save Data Utility on your PS3).

The actual image used ingame is stored on the DATA.bin file. This is a hex file, which can be edited, but believe me, attempting to edit this file is near impossible, it has approx. 250 thousand characters.

buy a 360 u won't get all kits on ps3 version hense y it sucks ass

its a bit late for that, i basically bought my ps3 for PES alone. i dont really care though as long as i get west ham home and away scans, plus the 6 other scans. that plus spurs and newcastle will do for me, at least the other kits can be edited a little bit.

it is annoying though, why do ps3 owners get shat on all the time?

so can somebody please tell me what do i have to do to get the actual kits rather than just the preview??????

Unless Konami release another patch, giving unlimited kit changes, there won't be full Premier League kits.

At the moment, the only way to change how kits are edited and veiwed in game is by using the PSEye. That writes directly to all 4 files. Which is a shame, because I don't know anyone with the PSEye.

But I guess Sony needed some method to get PSEye sales up, so they used us Pro Evo players!

i know there isnt full england league kits. what i do want to know is how to get the west ham kit (above) on to my ps3, rather than just the kit preview which is all ive managed to do so far.

i think if u save that pic onto the ps3 hdd, when u go into edit kits, there's an option for u to use a scanned image... when u click on that, it'll ask u to load and i think it loads from your ps3's hdd

nah, it loads up the old image, as apparantly i only saved the image preview.

Like i said i'm still coming to grips with editing pro evo on t ps3 so im no expert. but from using the other OF's i would asssume you could just use this image as if it was a scan if someone with more knowledge is familiar with this?? thanks
