Long balls

Now, I have been trying to master the art of Long Balls for a while now.

I used to use O mainly for them, and then realised that by holding the :L1: button, they seem to land pretty much at the players feet and go longer and land more precisely, has anyone else noticed this and has come to grips with it?

Yes, I think this was noticed almost a year ago. But yeah your right it does help, although sometimes it is crossed behind the player.

EXACTAMUNDO, and it's sometimes impossible to do mid level crosses without it being intercepted by the near post defender.

You can change the auto crossing settings in the button config at the bottom.

Heh, I know how to do an overhead through ball, I can use them to great effect

Also has anybody noticed that if from a goal kick you pass it to your full back, and run ( :R1:+down/up and right/left) towards the throw in line, and then hold down :circle: for full power, it should play a long ball down the line and it should clear the defence and your striker with be left with an easy goal/assist??
