How do you shoot from the half way line coz i'v seen loads of people score from the halfway line and every time i try it, it just fails. The closest i'v got is the keeper just saved it under the bar and smacked it over.

Can any1 recomend some decent players you can score these long range shots with.

press R2 wen you shoot, the player wil place it, henry is good for this but most will dot it. Its worked for me loads of times from half way :)

the typr of player ur looking for is one which has a high shot power stat, i take AC normally, so kaka or schev normally shoot from kick of 4 me. the key is to take the ball say 5 yards inside the opponents half and shhot with plenty of power, takes practice, and the height and quality of the keeper against you will have a big bearing. if you ask me, just dont do it, happens v v rarely, and so would be safer just working the ball in to better position hi

It's true. I dont do it myself but pressing R2 makes the player face the goal and trap the ball. Pressing R1 and L1 will make him place it for a long shot.

So when taking a shot you press R2 (hold or just press?) and R1 and L1 together? cos i know R1 keeps it low and L1 chips it! Help a member out :D

Nah dont press these after you press square at all! It's more of a pre-square-thang.

R2 makes the player face the goal

R1 traps the ball

L1 and R1 make him tap it out a bit reader for a long shot, like from the halfway line.

Yeah something like that. Pressing R2 on it's own isnt that important, it justs gets the player facing the right way.

Try it in training.
