So, KONAMI needs to put untucked shirts in the game. They must. What you guy's think will they be in or not?

they really need to have it as an edit option cuz im tired of lookin at every player lookin the same, players should look like they do in real life...for example, berba and ronaldo dont have thier shirts tucked in

definately, they included undershorts and neck warmers in no.6 so it would seem reasonable to expect this. also, on another thread someone mentioned using them support sock things that ronaldo wears instead of ankle tape. probably not this time but if konami are upping the edit mode then maybe pes 10 will include all this sort of stuff. fifa seem to be going along this line with the inclusion of cech's headgear.

I would love it to be back in edit mode, however...

konami won't put it in edit mode any more cause parents complained it encouraged there children to be untidy... pathetic but true. And i read it in a paper last year

Yet players in real life having there shirts untucked doesn't encourage kids to look untidy...its absoulte bollocks.

I beg to differ.. I think they look stupid regardless...

most footballers ARE stupid...

Seems like a bit of a generalisation...some are stupid, yes, bust most aren't devoid of a brain cell or two...anyway, not hugely bothered on this issue myself, but it would be a nice touch to bring back untucked shirts etc.

This was one of those little features they included but made quite a big difference in realism, i hope it does get brought back as it does look stupid having every player with tucked in shirts

In PES2008, edit mode would not enable you to pick whether the player wore their shirt long or tucked in but during the game some players would end up with their shirts untucked.

I haven't seen untucked shirts on the PS2 version of PES since PES5. And that was nearly 3 years ago.

It's shocking what KCET have been doing to the PS2 versions of PES in recent years. I know that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are more popular but that doesn't mean that certain features should be taken out of the PS2 version just because it's not next-gen.

PES6 on the PC had the option to have untucked shirts in edit mode. The PC version of PES6 was essentially identical to the PS2 version.

It's not enough for me though. I agree completely with Frazernufc, it's only a small thing but it increases the realism by a huge amount.

Sometimes it's the little things that make the big difference :(

Untucked shirts in edit mode ended after PES6 btw, it's just pes2008 and what looks like PES2009 that havn't got the feature recently

Actually the edit mode on the PS2 version of PES2008 allowed you to untuck shirts.

It's frustrating that we can no longer manage this ourselves, much like how neckwarmers were unchooseable in the PS2 version of PES2008.
