Long Throws

Is it just me or does it seem like everyone has long throw capability? I mean when I use Glen Johnson, he throws the ball like he was Delap. I know there is a Long Throw card, it just seems like everyone even Costolo can throw the ball into the penalty area.

hi, it's true and it's killing this game when those bastards just send longs throws forward that pass over defense and one player gets it and goes all alone to your goal, I stopped playing because it's frustration as I want to play with tactics , but it seems doing that it's the easiest way to score, they don't need Messi on CF even castolo would be able to catch the ball and run all alone to score. I thin,k this cheating techique started to be popular at the end of the year , now everyone I play with uses it all thr time, they don't even make two passes or cross the midfield, just long high throw, again and again and again. I think I'll change to FIFA, maybe it's a simulation of football because now PES2012 it's a real supernintendo game.

I've played over 200 MLO games and nobody is using the mega throw tactics (apart from me occassionally and with little success as most people are on their toes and ready for any of the little tricks you can imagine!)

I also never ever had someone trying this tactic. Imo it's not very effective as well.

Get a grip - if they run their player down the line, flick right stick towards your nearest defender and intercept it, button mash clear and put it out for another thow.

He's saying its a bit unrealistic that every player can throw like Shotton or Delap
