Looking at the PC specs, WTF?

Hi,

I have just received an email regarding that I will have my copy on the 24th which is awesome, but I have just been browsing the web, looking at the PC specs for PES2008 and WTF! Will this run on Windows Vista Ultimate 64?

It runs because the demo ran - they'd add compatibility not take it away. However, my controller didn't work in the demo and I don't know if that is a Vista x64 issue or a Pro Evo issue.

Well I know that the 360 pad for windows works so I have just ordered that today, so touch wood all goes well ?

Aye, the 360 controller runs beautifully with it. Very impressed indeed. Can't wait for the full thing to arrive so I can start hacking away at customising it

It's a PS2 controller via a USB adapter which has always worked absolutely perfectly in XP. Haven't fiddled with it too much but the Device Manager correctly lists it in Vista. It worked in the demo if I ran under XP but not under Vista which I think is a DirectInput problem under the latter OS.

I would've tried another adapter before going for the clumsy 360 controller. I have Vista x64 Ultimate, two PS2 controllers and a USB adapter and everything works flawlessly in all games.
