EA have an exclusive deal with fifa for the premier league that locks Konami out. Nothing they can do about it currently.

Why don't Konami buy licensed kits for premier league like FIFA? What happened? I always question this? They can't compete with Fifa? Or they can't pay the price to buy the premier licensed? What happens? Or the England league don't sell the licensed kits to Konami cause Fifa exclusive? They can sell for both company!!? But after all this is Konami fautl, they don't work hard for us! As a company they can solve this problem either another way!

It's not that simple. It's about exclusivity. Just like if you tweet a bit of coverage from a live Saturday 3pm premier league match, the league can prosecute you for infringement of image rights or some bollocks like that. It's really not Konamis fault

EA will pay enough money for exclusive rights to the leagues. So in essence they are likely paying enough to gain the licenses and enough to say Konami can't offer any more than we are putting on top. I wonder why United are the single team that break away from this.

They do the same with the NFL for Madden so for over 10yrs we have only had one NFL licensed game. At one time we had 3 NFL games with licenses and there was true competition. EA loses competitive edge with the NBA and Major League Baseball since they could not negotiate exclusive content and other companies make better games.

Yeah, that's how it is. They need to keep updating this mode for success. If they stop , then they might be loosing out on a great game. It's all going in the right direction if they fix this issues quick.
