Major Bugs of WE9

Is it just me or is it worrying that nobody seems that bothered about the frankly MAJOR bugs of Winning Eleven 9 regarding the formations and leagues/cups? I'm quite certain it wasn't in previous releases of the game (as some are saying) as I generally always play custom cups and leagues.

The bug is that when you updated a teams formation in editing mode, it only saves it for Exibition matches. So when you play against or with the team in a league mode, the formation is wrong. This is of course very annoying and often leads you to be playing against inferior opposition.

In addition to this, the option to go to player settings has been REMOVED completely before the game. You can only go to player settings once the game has started now. This means those people who play 2 player leagues or cups, with their friend playing as the CPU against their team, and vice versa, now cannot make changes to the team they will be until the game has started.

Frankly unless it's fixed by PES5 I for one won't be playing as 2 player leagues is pretty much the main thing I play with the current game.

Also the player settings being removed isn't exactly a ''bug''. Yet annoying nonetheless.

Also what made me cry was the disappearance of ''arrow settings''. I'm still shocked!

And read this thread good, I first also thought there was a bug but it only occure in the team your controlling, your oppenents team has the correct/changed line up. But only the first game, when you come later in the Cup/League the AI have changed the line-ups. Why? Because players get tired or suspended or the AI thinks he can use a better line up

You can solve the problem to go to the stock option choose the default option and copy this the sameway you would do with a save formation.

Mmm... still is a bit shit on Konami's part.

Which ones? Form arrows? If so, press R1 on the exhibition match setup screen to see the next page, which is where they are.
One great thing about this page is being to see what each type of ball looks like once you've unlocked them in the shop.

But yeah, quite a few bugs otherwise. Some think that PES5 will be magically improved and fixed but I won't be holding my breath.

yeah i agree its a right downer not being able to play using edited upto date teams and formations,is there a patch or option file that makes it a little more upto date??? someone plz fix this bug as its a nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah man... I play sao paulo on the 442. with a set of different strikers, anytime I wanna play a cup or a league, I have to switch strikers every game.... thats not too kool konami. but I find everything else awesome about this game

When I played my first match the formation wasn`t correct (GK: makaay...lol) but after correcting it I saved it (stock formation) to my memorycard. now i am able load my formation settings anytime i start a new cup (or what ever) from my memorycard. maybe you need to try it... :unsure:

Nice bug, was attacking but earlier on in the move Raul got injured in my own half, ref allowed play on, worked it to the Zidane on the edge of the box clear to shoot then the ref stopped play for the injured player, basically my own player stopped an almost certain goal.

Why don't you just stock the formations on the memory card?

It is not a case of saving "our" formations... it is your opponents that is the issue.

konami gave a shit with foramtion which goes before start of the match!!! when you play friendly it is ok becouse you can do player settings before it occures!!! but if you want to play league with friends who are taking cpu teams they cannot make their formations before the match, this is one bug which have to be changed

I dont know if someone ever notice this, but everytime i play the match, the nearer spectators are empty eventhough i set both home and away attendance to maximum. And then at replay view, at the same spot, there are many of them! where did they go? weird

There is already a thread about this. There are no visible crowd to reduce the slowdown.

Although we can't fix the CPU formations, there is now an option to auto-sort the CPU team to get their best players (kinda/usually) onto the pitch for the formation being used.
