Major Konami Screwup: the new National Team callup scheme

I can't seem to figure out how calling different players for their National Team works in this year. It is obviously a very different scheme from the previous years because now the kind of players you can call seem to be restricted!

My main gripe right now is with the Japanese national team. This team does not have any reserves in the game by default, but that's totally fine.

However, I wanted to add a new player to their NT, Kagawa. So I got myself an Option File with the Bundesliga, with Kagawa in Dortmund.

Now, in any other PES game you can easily call up any created player or a player from any club as long as they have the matching nationality.

I was unable to call up Kagawa to the NT in this game. I do not know why, but it seems they separated the edit menus go figure.

How am I going to be able to transfer a created player to their national team if the game doesn't allow me anymore?

This is really a big deal for me. If I'm unable to keep the national teams properly updated, then I will quit this game for sure.

hmmm...I think I have an idea...why don't you go to the edit mode...select a hidden/classic player (or any player for that matter) that you already unlocked that you don't really care for, and then base copy Kagawa over him!..That should work...I mean I unlocked Neymar and put him on the brazilian team..so you should be able to put hidden/classic players on National teams..

Thank you for the heads up on Base Copying.

I easily put Kagawa in Japan by using the new base copying feature, overwriting the third goalkeeper.

I won't quit the game anymore.
