I'd just started a new ML as Auxerre, after a done random pick.

They seem alright, I won my first match with Pedretti getting two of the goals in a 3-1 victory.

I'll keep everyone posted as to how I progress.

lol I know what you mean Hunter about when you score with a complete shambolic team! I was over the moon when I won my first match against Villarial earlier, lol I just couldnt believe I actually won a game soo soon in the season!

It's even more rewarding when one of these players actually keeps their place in your squad or even your first team in about 5 or so years - on PES5 I kept Stein for about 6 years, due to his stats turning into excellent tackling and good long shooting.

And on the same game, Jaric had a very strange journey. He started off as a substitute CB, until I started getting new players, he was pushed into my reserves. This was my first PES game, so I forgot to check the reserves, and was surprised about 2 years later to see I still had him, so I gave him a few games, and eventually he made my first team. By the time PES6 came out, he was my club captain and the heart of my defence.

I am going to create a custom team and add 2 players and go from there. It will be Reggg United. Any suggestions on who to add. I figure an AMF and a CF but nobody spectaculare of course. I am on ps2 btw. thanks.

I created my custom team Reggg United and put them in d2 in the prem. I took 2 real players. Arshavin and Krkic and the rest default players. Playing on Top Player with Normal difficulty for the ML and normal transfer rate. I gave myself 7500 points instead of 5000.

D2 consists of:
Me
Villa
Reading
Derby
Birmingham
Sunderland I think
Coventry
Ipswich


I didn't play any games yet. Hopefully tonight. We'll see how it goes :)

yeh the default players are a challenge - I just take every pass as it comes, don't give it away stupidly, and normally get the win - burchet ftw, keeper is awful

it's no fun taking a top team to the top

possibly river plate are my next project

the unrealistic fatigue of the default team are one of my main put offs, but I make sure to get park ji sung or someone similar as soon as possible, and mainly just speedy players to get round the defence easier
