Whats the most accurate formation and tactics for man united, so they look like the real thing in the game?

I've had success with this 4-2-3-1 formation with ManUtd. Rooney is the key here as the central attacking midfielder - he passes well, moves into the box for goals, and has a deadly shot from the edge of the box.

Alan Smith is also incredible in this game and can effectively play any of the midfield or forward positions. He and Scholes are the best back-ups for Rooney at the CAMF position. Rooney can also play as striker when Smith or Scholes is the CAMF.

Evra is more of an attacking LB than Heinze, while Heinze is better defensively. Wes Brown and John O'Shea can back up at either of the CB positions or at RB.

ive tried this fomation out zygalski and with a few alternation to attacking arrows it works really well for me.even though rooney rio and ronaldo are the only ones left from the original team in my squad.

For last year in PES5 I used a formation very similar to what Zygalski has posted but I use Fletcher for Carrick, and also Fletcher and Schols are more in the middle of the pitch - works very great.

In real life - yes. In PES6 - no. Vidic is pretty terrible. I tend to go with Silvestre, he's awesome in the game.

Formation very similar to whaleunited 's, but with Schole's a little ahead of Carrick, and Rooney as far back an SS as you can make him. They're my favourite PES6 team so far, very good to play as

yeah...vidic is the man in the real life...but he doesnt in PES/WE...although silvestre works great!
