Saw a video featuring Everton and they were actually called Everton rather than Merseyside Blue!? Do Premiership teams have real names now!?

Can we discuss what's being shown here? The gameplay and online. ;)
Well from the video I can comment on a few things but again, it's just a video and not a good quality ones. So the framerate will suffer for it resulting in a different paced video as opposed to the real thing.
So let's leave speed out (though it does look much slower than before, which is confirmed by all reviewers).

Keepers:
Although those are very low skilled keepers, they did pull out so pretty good saves. Though overall, it could've been better especially in certain ball handling moments. Out of all the videos I've seen, stupid mistakes occured only in 1 video where there was a penalty and the keeper didn't move for the ball. But since it's a beta, I expect better results in the final copy.

Defending:
This looks like a huge step forward as I haven't seen a single run like in pes 10.
Overall though, there's still work to be done as sometimes, the defenders won't tackle well. Now this could be either due to low skilled defenders, or the FACT that the play testers still need to learn how to defend well. I hope it's the latter because that would remind me of PES 5. My favourite pes of all time. Still I am not 100% sure how to handle world class players in this game because we haven't seen a single video about that. I just hope, they can be stopped with well times tackles and well times closing spaces. I am worried about this however. Let's hope I'm wrong.

Animations.
Difficult to tell because the videos aren't of good quality. But they look more improved this time. Still. I can't comment on them. However there was a shot animation where the ball curled beautifully into the corner of the goal. That was beautiful.:) But I can't comment well.

BTW, the passing looks like it's changed ALOT. It looks like for the better and finally, we have to weigh them before executing. I hope in the end, I'LL SAY "FINALLY, IT'S THE PES WE WANTED".
However I can't say it just yet.
But from the videos the improvement is clear.
By how much? I cannot tell.
Waiting for gamescom videos tommorrow I HOPE.

lets not forget.. its only the default master league players and abilities... I don't think anyone could do the runs... which I prefer

I don't think I'll play ranked matches if it keeps like this

^Very true, that's why I still have doubts in defending. But then again, the defenders are very low skilled aswell so maybe that's the balance. ;)
Let's hope it's as balanced as pes 5.

Passing still looks assisted and the ball physics at times seem to just follow the player rather than the ball being a separate entity, however the manual pass with L2 should be great cant wait for the game. It still doesn't look like true 360 movement but they are getting there.

Has anyone spotted a video of the beta where the human players are good at playing the game? Most or all of the videos I´v seen have not been played so well in my opinion which is totally acceptable b.t.w. :)
I know the learning curve for Pes 2011 is harder this year and I totally understand that it takes time to learn how to play it.

Anyone?
