How many of you play the master league or just network games...i was thinking about this when i got back to playing the master league...i got bored of cheating in the net and cut of....AI is a bit boring but i got new inspirations from building a team and been playing it for six seasons for now...what do you think which is more fun...:rolleyes:

Online is laggy. Master League is slim and boring. Only fun thing about ML is training players. Playing the normal leagues, World Cup, and Euro 2004 is the most fun for me.

I agree that online is sometimes too dodgy to play, but when the servers arn't full it can be mint. Master League is too easy if you start off with a decent team but playing with poorer side and building them up is good fun. 2 Player Master league is best because you can play some quality football.

Slightly off topic but I agree about the 2 player things you said.

My brother and I dont play against each other when he visits. We play the French League (to be different) as two players on the same team. Great fun - you can do things you cant do as one player and there are always the time when the other shouts at you for missing a sitter or not passing when you should.

I've only played online once. It's a lot slower (I suspect as a way to help alleviate lag). Maybe one day soon I'll try it again.

I've been playing ML starting with the crappy players. I find it fun and challenging. In the cup matches I bet Bayern Munich away 3-1, and then they beat me at home 2-0. Some kind of funky math allowed me to advance. I can beat good teams, but occasionally lose to bad teams (I got blown out 4-0 by one of the worst teams in the league. All goals on headers.).

I wonder though, once I can afford to stock my team completely with high quality players, how fun master league will be. If I'm winning every game easily I'm sure I'll stop playing.

Not very fun at all. Once you acquire the likes of Rooney, Smith, Ronaldo and train them to their peak and thrash every opponent thrown at you it'll get boring real fast. So whats left then, stick with crap players? hehe

I just don't understand why Konami can't implement full 20 club leagues in ML. They can use a ton of made of teams like WE United for Dvision 2 for all I care as long as there's 20 clubs per league, more than 4 leagues, and 8 group CL then I'm happy.

Finaly iv found some one else who recognises how good A. Smith is in the game. He is a god, in my last season before i got the option file update he had scored 27 goals in the league and most of them were screamers.

Konami need to bring back the '6 STAR' Difficulty setting 2 make it more challenging.

hehe if you check the hints and tips section there are many people who recognize him. And Top Player is actually 6 star, Professional is 5 star. Konami removed 1 of the lower levels. I don't like anything past 5 star cuz instead of giving a stat boost they just need to make them more intelligent.

SAY WHAT? There was something lower than the lowest rating? WEPES2007 is the first time I've ever played any of the games in the series. I scored three goals in like three minutes the first time I played, which was on that level. I quit immediately after that. I can't imagine a lower level unless the players on the other team just stand still like traffic cones.

I played oninewith 360 yesterda and have to say its magnificent the way the leauges are set up and I found no lags at all in the 5 games I played. The only prolem is that the gameplay and the controler is poor on the 360, could some one tell me what the ps2 is like on line and what I would need to buy to set it up. Also is are there rankings the sme way there is wiyh xbox online.
