Could someone please post a complete and detailed squad list for the originals in PES2011?

Also, has anyone started a Master League with the Originals on Top Player yet, I would be interested to know how difficult it is this year.

This is also the place for people who are using the originals to show their line-up and tactics. I am interested to know other players strategies.

Only interested in Top Player comment for this, as I am trying to make an assessment - I am already thinking about how I will set my team up on Friday/Saturday, sorry. :)

Yes i started with the originals in la liga ,gutted there is no divison 2 so i could at least get a few ok players , lost first three opening game but i was really loving the master league challenge this year playing at the bernabeu you really need to contain like a shitty team would do in real life. Barca robbed me , with a cheapo close range freekick and a header from a corner in the last 10 minutes.The first match i underestimated Hércules after going 1 down by chasing the game and ended up losing 5 - 1 :lol:.
managed to get macheda on a loan but then
I lost all the enthusiasm i had for master league when i realised i couldn't sign unaffiliated players:realmad: :realmad: :realmad:.

i am using original ml team, it is the same difficult as previous years for the early season, this year's ML is more near real life, when in the away match, u seldom found yr player will be in gd status, always blue and purple arrow
but u still can score as this year's defence system seems weaker

Yes, yes answers wanted about that question that there's no possibility of signing free agents? Have you already finished a season? (no free agents before the end of the first season)

Those were the lifeline of originals player team with no cash or reputation.. Got some incredible guys through there though last year.. almost too incredible :p
But cool thing was to find "good enough" players through there, play them for a season or so and sell them with incredible profit.. and to make slow progress within the team!

It might be interesting to not have free agents, as you really do have to have a long-term plan, perhaps bringing through Youth players.

On the other hand, free-agents are a fundamental part of football, and should be in the game.

Hope this isn't a case of Konami fixing something that isn't broken. The Master League was truely epic last year.

With all these crazy rumours flying about I hope Konami havn't messed it up.

I agree, don't really mind how it is, there are pros and cons, master league is going to rock anyway :p. But the facts would still be nice to know.

My copy of PES should be here on Friday or Saturday, so I have started to think about how I will set-up my originals team this time round, considering how much more difficult it is likely to be to get wins in PES 2011 compared to PES 2010.

Last year my starting lineup was:

It worked well as I managed to finish second in D2 in the first season.


This year however, with the more potent attacking AI, I think this formation may not be an option.


So I am thinking about a catenaccio system:

-4 CB's I think is the minimum to use with the originals this year considering the through balls and movement of the AI.

I'd be interested to know the approach other players have taken.

I'm not talking about free agents .
I was talking about real life players who haven't got a club in the game.
Can someone confirm there is no possibility of signing these players.
I dont want to finish a season and find out i still can't sign them

You mean the hidden/classic players that you unlock (or I guess buy from the Shop in '11) and certain national team players? The former used to pop up in the Free Agents section at the end of the first season, while the latter came through as youth team players. I hope they haven't screwed up that system, it worked well!

No he means if he sets his ML up with EPL, La Liga, Serie A, League 1 and Eredevise then can or cant he sign players who play for teams outwith those leagues e.g. scottish teams or russian teams as these teams dont actually exist within the master league

The way I understand and think what you mean. Those players used to rise from youth teams in PES2010. Meaning also from other teams youth teams.

If the player was in it's countries national team that is.
