Don't know mate. If every scout is level 1 when you start it shouldn't be the problem, since i could see every scouted players stats. Maybe it's two weeks then. First he gives the first scout report, only saying something. Then the next week he gives an other one (letting you see the stats)

i made a mistake of putting the scout in control of nogations cause i wanted to know how to offer wages yourself while i changed the settings the scout decided to sell hargreaves to liverpool and i had no say in the matter, i know i wont try that setting again.

Whatever happened to creating your own team from scratch? Yet another great feature thats been taken away for no reason.

You should be able to see the players' overall rating, even without scouting if a player is in a major league you should be able to get a pretty good general idea about their capabilities. Heck just watch a few games they play in on the telly!!!

Agreed having exact stats as open book is overkill, having no stats is overkill as well.

Yh on the surface its a good idea but its a disaster actually using it. Its so annoying not knowing anyones stats atall. In your pes past you must of cycled through the pages and come across a good looking talent and signed him up. How am i ment to do that now?

For example lets say 'Player A' is unbelievably good and relativly unknown and plays in another league to me with no european expectations. In past pes' i would go through lists of players and find him and be increibly happy. Now in 2010 to find him how would i do it? I'd have to basically randomly just go to odd teams and scout players ive never heard of in a vein effort to find 'player A'.

Even if i go on the list system and search 'Striker' it always comes up with utter shit like Pizzaro. Im looking for the new Aguero and in this new system ill just never be able to sign anyone unknown as it will just be too much hassle and will leave me with a list of 50 players who ive scouted and turns out they're crap.

I dont hate this game and infact i am absolutely in love with it. Currently up with pes 6 for me. My ML with R. Madrid is really fun and im in a title race for once but to me transfers are the heartbeat of the ML and this is an unwanted bombshell for me.

it sounds like you know exactly what you want, so why don't you perform an advanced search? striker, aged 15-22 years old, overall rating 80-99, when someone meets the search conditions and you see a player you are interested in put him on your scout list and after a couple of weeks you know enough, quite realistic isnt it?

After how long and where does one find them once their reborn?

Van Der Sar retired last season and I just reached the first transfer window but still no reborn Van Der Sar. I searched through his nationality but he is not even in there. I also searched him by his name but say something like player can't be found. In previous games of the series players are reborn after the first half of the next season.

how did you search by nationality then? i couldn't find this function..

no still don't show - is this because I only have a level 1 scout perhaps?

Exactly. A Lvl.5 scout returns back with stats in his 2nd report, a lesser scout takes longer

Sorry for not responding earlier; You go to "negotiations", in here you will fing search by group and then you can choose to the search by "nationality"
