hi ive just ordered a max drive £9.99 of play.what can i do with it when it comes and how do i do it.will it enhance my pro evo experience.

You can connect it to your PC and download an option file from the internet that has all the kits created, the players, teams etc renamed and the formations updated. Then you plug it back into your PS2 and copy it onto your memory card.

If you want new balls, detailed kits, crowd chants and everything else you will need to patch your game.

Its complicated and for more info you should read some threads in the editing area or in the download area. In the thread for each patch somebody has created it should include installation instructions.

First make a backup of all of your memory card files by copying them onto the max drive. Then copy them into a new folder on your PC. On your mem card delete the PES4 option file and any other non-crucial files.

Go to the File Downloads section and follow link to download the pesfan V3 option file (not the patched version) and then copy the file onto your max drive and transfer it onto your memory card. Load pes4 and enjoy the new option file :cool:

I take it the Pesfan V3 Option File is much better than the Pro Evolution Update disc you can buy? Actually, its not hard to be better than that. There is always so little effort put into those update discs that i'd rather edit everything myself.
