Maybe editing striped shirts is an unlockable item!?
I cannot imagine it's not in the game, especially because some teams play with striped shirts, even teams without licence...
My guess is that you should win something with a team with a striped shirt, licensed or not...;)

The thing that is really stupid is that there are plenty of licensed striped shirts in the game, so why could these not be used in the editor? Infact the same goes for all the licensed shirt types.

Yea, it would be nice to use the licsenced strips as a template then edit over them, epecially for the new nike ones. Maybe in PES5....

The all-star teams could not be "unlocked" in PES3..... conclusion- they are not in the game (and before you start, I'm only referring to the PS2 version).

Everything unlockable is in the shop.

Methinks Konami is just asking for people patch their game with the real kits ;)

Why did KONAMI put kits almost identical to each other, that the only difference betwwen them is the order of the colors? They should have just added the templates from PES3 and keep on adding them for PES5 until we have like 200 templates to choose from. Or just have an editor like the one in TIF. How hard is for them to make semi-exact templates like the new Nikes, more up-to date Adidas template (since they have the permision of Adidas), and the rest kit manufacturers, they just have the basic adidas templates! :rolleyes:
Konami know they don't have licences for all the teams, why not make a better editor??

That's why I still cannot believe this editing is not possible. Have to be a way.
I go playing all kind of cups and leagues with unlicenced, striped teams (like newcastle), hoping for unlocking stripe-editing.
Who helps me? I play a cup with them; who plays the league? ;)

why don't you write to konami, i did giving them some game ideas for pes(which included for them to bring it to xbox) they wrote back saying they couldn't accept my ideas for legal reasons , but they will respond to you if you write to them(write to konami of europe)

No, even unlicensed teams do have stripes, but you see a white shirt if you want to edit those.

What gets me is that this lack of stripes must have just been some weird cock up.

And it is a step back in editing terms, despite the leaps forwards with colours and sponsor editing etc. just daft and thus anoying

Its indeed ridicolous this action by Konami... Just like with PES UTD and WE UTD they both have plain shirts (PES UTD has striped shirt) but you cant select those in edit mode!
Once I started a ML with Feyenoord after 4 seasons I got enough of the ugly away kit of Feyenoord.. I thought lets edit it and keep the other kits the same (so licensed) So I made a wonderful kit with sponsor etc. I think it took me few hours!! Then I came to an awful conclusion...... they sponsor I made for my away kit was also on my homekit and GK (Those were licensed, so i didnt want a sponsor on those only on my Away kit)... And my option was: A) Or no sponsor at all B)or Sponsor on all kits!! That is ridicolous too!! Why cant only my away kit have a sponsor!! Phh those japanese people....

Isnt that more because football teams always have the same sponsers on both the home and away kits?
