Super 14 Champions 2006
Friendly 1

Brazil 2 - Argentina 1
Rivaldo 6' Crespo 52'
Ronaldo 114'

7th Minute
After a Ronaldinho steal the broke down the left, crossed it was parried by the keeper right into the path of Rivaldo who had and open goal and placed it casually in the bottom left hand corner of the goal

Brazil 1 - Argentina 0

43rd Minute
After some sloppy work at the back by the Brazilians Argentina earned themselves a throw in deep in Brazilian territory... from the throw Argentina crossed the ball and Crespo rose above the Brazilian defence and headed the cross agonizingly close the goal...

Half-Time

Shot on Goal:
Brazil 5 - Argentina 2
Possession:
Brazil 45% - Argentina 55%

52nd Minute
A lovely counter-attack by Argentina led Crespo to find himself running free along the right flank with the Brazilian defence no where to be found. Crespo got to the edge of the 18 yard box and proceeded to the turn in and from about 13 yards let off and absolute screamer that rocketed towards Marcos who was only able to just get a hand on it as it sailed in the goal.

Brazil 1 - Argentina 1

58th Minute

Cafu was pulled down out side the box which left Roberto Carlos with a freekick 35 yards out from goal. From an acute angle he had a shot but was unable to clear the wall the rebound fell to Crespo who fed it to Sorin who was away. The Brazilian cover defence was excellent and cut down his angle and possiblities and Sorin put it a foot over the bar

After a Second half where both teams had their chances of winning this game... it heads to Extra Time..

After 90 mins

Shot on Goal:
Brazil 7 - Argentina 4
Possession:
Brazil 40% - Argentina 60%

After a rather uneventfull ist period of extra time the teams remain locked

Shot on Goal:
Brazil 7 - Argentina 5
Possession:
Brazil 41% - Argentina 59%

109th Minute
A poor clearance from Cavallero gave Ronaldo a shot at goal. The normally cool Brazilian uncharacteristically failed to find the net, and sent the ball over the cross bar

114th minute
Some good lead up work from the Brazilian midfield saw Ronaldo find some space inside the box who this time, made no mistakes and calmly slotted it to the right of a diving Cavallero to give Brazil the win.

A somewhat undeserving Brazil stole a victory from the deserving Argentineans who had a mountain of possession but were unable to capitalize...

End of Match Stats

Shot on Goal:
Brazil 9 - Argentina 5
Possession:
Brazil 41% - Argentina 59%

Man of the Match: Rivaldo

I don't think that using random form arrows necessarily means a better chance for weaker teams. If Giggs and Bellamy are on bad arrows, Wales are screwed no matter what. With them both on red arrows, they should at least be able to score against a 'better' team.
Plus the keepers of weaker teams have the bonus of red arrows to make them better (not that this makes any difference to the Wales keepers - believe me I know! ;) )

If not red then how about a different arrow?
If you use random arrows, you might have to make changes to half the team picked by the player which would make having the choice to pick players quite redundant.

Hmmmm.
