Title says it all....

What can I do to convert more chances?

I get great opportunities, but keepers are always man of the match against me... the commentators are always saying how good opposing keepers are and what a great performance they're putting....

I'm completely lost....

Most of the games I start trailing, I can never get back and end up loosing.

I never get to play those 4-3, 3-2, scoreline matches.

yeah i know defenders work good and goalkeepers:)but on top player i have some 3-2etc.try all out attack.build up play 1-2.dribbling..i got 2 good drribbles for right and left side.so practice in tranning-shots..on corner or freekicks put all attack then all players join,or fast counter attacks.see in edit mode how play team u play against so u know..but maaan if they first score then they have 4cb and 3dm:) so more all attack and crosses on headers.

Do NOT try All Out Attack, you'll just end up with your defenders too far up the pitch and leave yourself wide open to be outnumbered on the counter-attack. Tell us how you're taking your shots first of all so we have a general idea of where you may be going wrong with your finishing. Are you getting 1 on 1 chances clear on goal? Are you getting in shooting positions at all? Give us a bit more information.

Thanks for all the feedback.

I've been playing PES for a long time, so it's not about the basics....

My main problem is actually creating chances in through the middle of the field.
I can get a lot of chances from wing play (4-3-3 being my favourite tactic), but in the middle of the field, my CFs are always barged off the ball....

I do a lot of 1-2s, it has always been a second nature from me....

Initially I played with a very attacing tactic, defense high up the pitch and all, but recently I preffer playing a little more deep, as to allow them to come forward, and to free up more space for my counter.

My records:
Games 71
Wins 39
Draws 18
Losses 14
GS 92
GC 55
Shots 626
Opponent Shots 452

Penalties 5
FK 148
CK 149
Fouls 285
Fouls suffered 153
Yellow cards 67
Red cards 6
Injuries 7

I know what you mean. I have the same problem, and I won't say that this is 100% for sure, but what I'm finding is that the key is a light touch, one touch play, and flowing attacking movements.

This goes for through passing for example, just tap it, and then tap shoot for a one time shot. Any opportunities to shoot, tap shoot...

Also, as you say wing play is more effective, but you need to build up play through the middle, then the space will open up on the wings, don't just pass it out to the wing right away. Don't force it, allow space to open up naturally, then either take advantage at the right moment... or perhaps look for an even better pass to unlock the defense than the obvious open space... Unexpected passes or plays seem to work more than the obvious ones, but not all the time of course. It's all actually quite realistic in terms of the challenges of a real match IMO.

Don't worry about not converting all the time though, that's realitic as well. Just keep at it until one finds the back of the net. Don't give up!

personally when i get into a slump like that i change formations or shuffle the attacking players around.

sometimes you just need something to get you out of your mental slump.

if all else fails just throw your controller into the couch and do something else and play again later. your brain can only handle so much PES until it needs to rest.
