ML Freezing.

Freezing on PS3 is usually caused by overheating. Being logged in to PSN generates extra heat, so as well as making sure that the console is well ventilated on all three sides (at least 20cm; front, right, back), try playing while offline. That's what I did and I haven't had a freeze since. Mine only froze in the tunnel, though.

The freezing was happening for me in the tunnel but only ever on the first game I played when turning the PS3 on - so the opposite of overheating

Letting the tunnel bit go a bit longer first game seems to have sorted the problem. Not had a crash in weeks now.

If the freezing is happening at the start ov ML after you loaded up a saved game let the intro sequence run when you put PES in and then jus play as normal because if your system is flat cold then it might freeze so let it warm up a bit

If it freezes during playing and you been on it for a while then your system could be overheating due to long periods ov gameplay, i tend to play PES while being signed out ov the PSN

why can't they just release a patch that enables us to turn off auto save/cheat prevention?

I've started letting the intro sequence (teams in the tunnel) play for a bit longer (till their out on the pitch) at the start of my first match, instead of pressing start straight away. The freezing has stopped

Same for me, if i press start to early it will freeze in the tunnel, i just let them stroll out before i press start.

Although mine dont freeze on first match alone, it can be any number of game. But my ps3 is raised on the unit by itself and maybe stays cold alot longer than other peoples.

I just make sure i save before every game incase it does crash.
