Ok so i created Nottingham forest and started out in the second division. Now after 6 seasons i have won the EPL back to back, won the uefa cup, won the champions league and won the FA cup and my scout is at level 5 yet i cant sign a damn "famous" player. I just dont get. I have more then enough money to buy 3-4 big name players but every single negotiation breaks down its pathetic i dont even want to play anymore cause its boring playing with the same unknown but somehow amazing players.

Not even Barca, Real or Man U can sign every player they want! so its kind of realistic. Like if Barca bid 100m for Rooney they'd be turned down etc

Its true that other teams cant buy any of the players they want but its also really weird how my team is winning trophies left and right and teams that are a lot worse then me are buying players that i cant buy. Like bordeux in my game is always buying really famouse players and i cant even get guys that arent even that famous! it kinda ruins the game

consider that these players may not want to come to your team because its obvious they will have to operate in a rotation or something. it has appeared to me that signing big name players is def easier when your squad actually needs them rather than just wants them.

that being said, i definitely think transfers are a bit to hard to accomplish in this game for the player.

I'm in my fifth season with my made up Forest team and have just brought Hamsik and Gourcuff for the combined total of 140mil (has taken years to save) but you can buy players just keep trying..... side note...did you start with default players? cause i did... don't know if that makes diff..

forgot to add that i haven't won league yet just two CL semi's in a row... What a central midfield i have now........

Not alot... i'm sorry in my sixth season... i keep getting money from sales... don't know if this happens to you but i keep buying players on the cheap like Ebondo RB for about 2mil... within two seasons i sold him for 23mil and his overall skill was 75...
I always keep about 15 good players and the rest youth players no matter how poor and sell anyone who becomes good but not quiet best 15 if you know what in mean?

that's how i make money but i don't have a squad of 80+ players i have 10-15... 80-90 skill players and the rest are like 65 rating... keeps wages down as well!!!!!

i have seen some ridiculous transfers like some big name players going to bad teams, but thats once in awhile and yes if ur squad is good and u want big name players unless they feel they are going to play and not be part of ur bench they wont come or if their current club doesnt use them as much they might come to u, and it could be ur fan level is low and some players want a big name team after all isnt that why they play the game?

Plus think about it, what big name player would go to nottingham forest...if i was a player based on the team name alone i wouldnt even participate in any negotiations with u...lol but thats just me

It's been the same with every PES game though. I feel that they really need to sort out transfers over the years I have seen so many big names go to smaller clubs then me when it is obvious I would be starting them and offering them ridiculous amounts of money and you know while they try to keep it real and say big names don;t go to small clubs. Well maybe that is kinda true but their are some players that care more about money. I mean you look at past transfers in real life like Robinho, Henry, Given to name a few. Not to mention there are some players that are playing for absolute shit teams and are on the bench and they still won;t come to my team. It's ridiculous I really feel the major problems with PES have always been the referees and the transfers. Also has anyone noticed that while the referees in this game are ridiculous in giving fouls for applying pressure but not for sliding tackles from behind they have finally got more realistic when it comes to calling offsides and such. I have had a few goals scored against me and me scoring against others that when I looked at the replay closely I was or they were quite clearly offside and the goals have still counted. That is something I have waited quite awhile for that there is a human like error factor in the game. Not all the time but sometimes.

Ye some transfers are weird but i dunno its sometimes fun to play against a poor side with 1 world class player, keep him quiet and your home dry n ye refs are a bit better i got a chelsea player sent off in the FA cup final for tackling behind me n offsides are more debatable nw

it all depends on whether you have the space in the team. i kept trying and got nowhere
and then i sold about 3-4 players, made a bid for aguero and got him straight away for 104 million
i have no problem buying players now. just make sure you have the right cash and then also make sure there is enough space in the team

same here not a fan of ML this year...........i cant sign anyone ........and there are 2 many transfers..........no option like older versions to have low, regular, or high number of transfers.

I go for the free agents.. and players who put their contracts on hold.. they sign up with us 90% of the time..

Sometimes you see blackburn buying Ribery, or wolves suddenly getting Torres. What? how the heck did they get the money..
